 <note>STRACT&#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol kulit&#13;
batang Cyathocalyx sumatranus (EEKBCS) terhadap kadar serum glutamat&#13;
oxaloasetat transaminase (SGOT) dan serum glutamat piruvat transaminase (SGPT)&#13;
tikus yang diinduksi parasetamol dosis toksik, serta mengetahui konsentrasi&#13;
antioksidan ekstrak etanol C. sumatranus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian&#13;
ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 kelompok perlakuan&#13;
dan 4 ulangan. Hewan uji yang digunakan ialah tikus jantan galur Wistar usia 3&#13;
bulan dengan rerata berat badan 271,375± 15,251 g sebanyak 24 individu diinduksi&#13;
hepatotoksisitas dengan parasetamol sebanyak 1350 mg/kgBB pada hari ke-7 kecuali&#13;
kontrol normal (K0), yang diberi akuades. Hewan uji juga mendapat perlakuan&#13;
pemberian akuades pada kontrol negatif (K-), Hepa-Q sebanyak 11,34 mg/kgBB&#13;
kontrol positif (K+), EEKBCS dosis 150 mg/kgBB (P1), 300 mg/kgBB (P2) dan 600&#13;
mg/kgBB (P3) selama 14 hari. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance&#13;
(ANOVA) taraf signifikan 5% dengan uji Tukey sebagai uji lanjut. Hasil penelitian&#13;
menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemberian EEKBCS terhadap kadar SGOT&#13;
dan SGPT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa dosis 300 mg/kgBB&#13;
EEKBCS memiliki potensi hepatoprotektor. Hasil pengukuran secara&#13;
spektrofotometri menunjukkan bahwa EEKBCS memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 94,906&#13;
?g/mL sehingga aktivitas antioksidan EEKBCS dikategorikan sebagai aktivitas&#13;
antioksidan kuat.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
This study aims to analyze the effect of ethanol extract of stem Cyathocalyx&#13;
sumatranus bark (EEKBCS) on serum glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (SGOT)&#13;
and serum glutamate pyruvate transaminase (SGPT) rats induced by toxic doses of&#13;
paracetamol, and to determine the antioxidant concentration of ethanol extract C.&#13;
sumatranus. The method used in this study was a completely randomized design&#13;
(CRD) consisting of 6 treatment groups and 4 replications. The test animals used&#13;
were male Wistar rats aged 3 months with a mean body weight of 271.375 ± 15.251&#13;
g, as many as 24 individuals were induced hepatotoxicity with 1350 mg/kgBW of&#13;
paracetamol on the 7th day except for normal control (K0), which were given&#13;
distilled water. Test animals were also treated with distilled water to negative control&#13;
(K-), Hepa-Q as much as 11.34 mg/kgBW positive control (K +), EEKBCS dose of&#13;
150 mg / kgBW (P1), 300 mg/kgBW (P2) and 600 mg/kgBW (P3) for 14 days. Data&#13;
were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a significant level of 5%&#13;
with Tukey's test as a follow-up test. The results showed that there was an effect of&#13;
EEKBCS on SGOT and SGPT levels. Based on the results of the study, it was&#13;
concluded that the dose of 300 mg/kgBW EEKBCS has a potential hepatoprotector.&#13;
