												Uji toksisitas akut merupakan uji pra klinik yang bertujuan mengukur derajat efek toksik suatu senyawa dalam waktu tertentu setelah pemberian dosis tunggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui nilai toksisitas akut dari probiotik RABAL terhadap larva Artemia salina. Uji toksisitas akut probiotik RABAL dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). Probiotik yang telah dibuat, difermentasi selama 7 hari dan disiapkan dengan konsentrasi 0%; 0,25%; 0,5%; 0,75%; 1%; 1,25%; 1,5%; 1,75%; 2% dan 2,25%. Uji ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan larva Artemia salina yang berumur 48 jam.  Efek toksisitas diukur dengan menentukan persentase kematian larva, kemudian dihitung nilai LC50 dengan menggunakan analisis probit. Hasil penelitian menujukkan nilai toksisitas akut (LC50) probiotik RABAL terhadap larva Artemia salina yaitu 1,153% dengan nilai regeresi y = 7.2832x - 24.584. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa probiotik RABAL tidak bersifat toksik bagi larva Artemia salina.&#13;

	Acute toxicity test is a preclinical test that aims to measure the degree of toxic effects of a compound within a certain time after single dose administration. This study aims to determine the acute toxicity value of  RABAL on Artemia salina larvae. The acute toxicity test of RABAL was conducted using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The prepared probiotic was fermented for 7 days and prepared with concentrations of 0%; 0,25%; 0,5%; 0,75%; 1%; 1,25%; 1,5%; 1,75%; 2% and 2,25%. The test was conducted using Artemia salina larvae with 48 hours life span. The toxicity effect was measured by determining the percentage of larvae mortality, then LC50 was calculated using probit analysis. The results showed that the LC50 of RABAL probiotic was 1,153% with a regression value y = 7.2832x - 24.584.  It can be concluded that RABAL probiotics do not have toxic effect on Artemia salina larvae.&#13;
