Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menguji model pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan&#13;
kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) di pada inspektorat jenderal&#13;
tni angkatan darat dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel pemediasi. Populasinya&#13;
adalah PNS di Inspektorat Jenderal Angkatan Darat. Jumlah populasi adalah 115&#13;
responden. Model penelitian di analisis menggunakan Struktural Equation Modeling&#13;
(SEM). Hasil penelitian membuktikan Motivasi Intrinsik mempengaruhi kepuasan&#13;
kerja secara positif dan signifikan, Kompetensi mempengaruhi Kepuasan PNS secara&#13;
positif dan signifikan, Kepuasan mempengaruhi Kinerja secara positif dan signifikan,&#13;
Motivasi Intrinsik mempengaruhi Kinerja PNS secara positif dan signifikan,&#13;
Kompetensi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Kinerja PNS, Motivasi&#13;
mempengaruhi Kinerja PNS melalui Kepuasan Kerja secara positif dan signifikan, dan&#13;
Kompetensi mempengaruhi Kinerja PNS melalui Kepuasan Kerja secara positif dan&#13;
signifikan. Temuan ini berkontribusi secara akademis terutama dalam pembaharuan&#13;
teori kausalitas dan bisa menjadi referensi bagi pimpinan praktis terutama yang ada&#13;
pada lingkungan Inspektorat Jenderal TNI Angkatan Darat. Kebaharuan penelitian ini&#13;
terletak pada kombinasi model penelitian kausalitas sebelumnya, dengan objek yang&#13;
baru. Batasan penelitian ada pada jumlah variable yang diteliti dan sekup penelitian.&#13;

This study intends to examine the model of the influence of intrinsic&#13;
motivation and competence on the performance of civil servants (PNS) in the&#13;
Inspectorate General Of The Indonesian Army (Itjenad) with job satisfaction as a&#13;
mediating variable. The population is civil servants in the (Itjenad). The population is&#13;
115 respondents. The research model is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling&#13;
(SEM). The results of the study prove that Intrinsic Motivation influences job&#13;
satisfaction positively and significantly, Competence influences Satisfaction of Civil&#13;
Servants positively and significantly, Satisfaction influences Performance positively&#13;
and significantly, Intrinsic Motivation influences PNS Performance positively and&#13;
significantly, Competence does not significantly influence PNS Performance&#13;
variable, Intrinsic Motivation influences the performance of civil servants through job&#13;
satisfaction positively and significantly, and competence influences the performance&#13;
of civil servants through job satisfaction positively and significantly. These findings&#13;
contribute academically, especially in the renewal of the theory of causality among&#13;
research variables and can be a reference for practical leaders, especially those in the&#13;
(Itjenad). The novelty of this research lies in the combination of previous causality&#13;
research models, with new objects. The limitation of the study is on the number of&#13;
variables studied and the research scope.&#13;
