Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perceived organizational support dan psychological empowerment terhadap employee engagement serta dampaknya pada kepuasan kerja pegawai pada rumah sakit umum daerah Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 224 orang pegawai administrasi di rumah sakit tersebut. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan peralatan statistik structural equation model (SEM). Penelitian menemukan bahwa perceived organizational support dan psychological empowerment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja pegawai. Employee engagement memediasi pengaruh perceived organizational support dan psychological empowerment terhadap kepuasan kerja.

EFFECT OF PERCEIVED OGRANIZATIONAL SUPPORT AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AS WELL AS THEIR IMPACT ON THE JOB SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYEE IN REGIONAL HOSPITAL ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment on employee engagement as well as its impact on employee job satisfaction in the Regional Hospital of Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. The research sample of 224 administrative employees in the hospital. Data collection using a questionnaire and then the data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM). The study found that perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment had a positive and significant effect on employee engagement and employee job satisfaction. Employee engagement mediates the effect of perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment on job satisfaction.
