Abstrak: Polusi udara telah menjadi salah satu masalah lingkungan global yang menjadi perhatian dunia (Mulyadi, 2015). Survei yang dilakukan oleh World Health Organization - WHO (2002) di 1.600 kota yang tersebar di 91 negara di dunia menunjukkan bahwa hampir 90 persen orang-orang di pusat perkotaan menghirup udara yang tidak sehat. Dampak dari polusi udara terhadap kesehatan pada akhirnya akan menimbulkan beban ekonomi (economic burden) yang harus ditanggung oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk manganalisis biaya polusi udara yang timbul akibat bertambahnya volume kendaraan bermotor. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita penyakit akibat polusi udara di Kota Banda Aceh tahun 2018-2019. Sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dimana sampel yang diambil dibatasi hanya 100 penderita penyakit aibat polusi udara di Kota Banda Aceh tahun 2018-2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Total rata-rata biaya yang dikeluarkan penderita asma adalah sebesar Rp. 5.500.000 dengan rincian biaya opname sebesar Rp. 2.600.000 dan biaya rawat jalan sebesar 2.900.000. Total rata-rata biaya yang dikeluarkan penderita ISPA adalah sebesar Rp. 6.500.000 dengan rincian biaya opname sebesar Rp. 3.100.000 dan biaya rawat jalan sebesar 3.400.000. Penderita ISPA di Kota Banda Aceh pada tahun 2017 mencapai 7.515 jiwa. Jika semua penderita ISPA memilih untuk menjalani rawat inap maka biaya kotor yang harus dikeluarkan mencapai Rp 48.847.500.000.

Abstract: Air pollution has become one of the global environmental problems of global concern (Mulyadi, 2015). A survey conducted by the World Health Organization - WHO (2002) in 1,600 cities in 91 countries in the world shows that almost 90 percent of people in urban centers breathe unhealthy air. The impact of air pollution on health will ultimately lead to an economic burden that must be borne by the community. This study aims to analyze the cost of air pollution arising from the increase in the volume of motor vehicles. The population in this study were all sufferers of diseases caused by air pollution in Banda Aceh City in 2018-2019. While the research sample was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, where the samples taken were limited to only 100 patients with air pollution caused by the city of Banda Aceh in 2018-2019. The results showed that the average total costs incurred by asthmatics was Rp. 5,500,000 with details of the hospitalization fee of Rp. 2,600,000 and outpatient costs 2,900,000. The total average cost incurred by sufferers of ARI is Rp. 6,500,000 with details of the hospitalization fee of Rp. 3,100,000 and outpatient costs 3,400,000. ARI sufferers in Banda Aceh City in 2017 reached 7,515 inhabitants. If all ISPA sufferers choose to undergo hospitalization, the gross costs that must be incurred reach Rp 48.847.500.000.
