 <note>Aktivitas antioksidan dan sitotoksik ekstrak aseton kulit buah kakao (Theobroma&#13;
cacao L.) telah diuji dengan menggunakan 1,1-diphenyl-2-pycrixlhidrazil (DPPH)&#13;
dan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). Ekstrak aseton kulit buah kakao&#13;
dipisahkan komponen kimianya dengan menggunakan kromatografi kolom dan&#13;
diperoleh 11 fraksi (TCA 1-TCA 11).  Fraksi TCA 6 menunjukkan aktivitas&#13;
antioksidan tertinggi dengan nilai IC&#13;
50 &#13;
sebesar 7,37 ppm sedangkan fraksi TCA 2&#13;
menunjukkan aktivitas sitotoksik tertinggi dengan nilai LC&#13;
50&#13;
 sebesar 10,96 ppm.&#13;
Isolasi lebih lanjut dilakukan terhadap fraksi TCA 1 karena memiliki nilai LC&#13;
50&#13;
 yang&#13;
kuat sebesar 100 ppm dan IC&#13;
50&#13;
 yang masih berpotensi sebagai antioksidan, serta&#13;
memiliki massa yang cukup besar yaitu 1,61 g. Hasil isolasi didapatkan isolat TCA&#13;
1.2.3 yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan lebih kuat dengan nilai IC&#13;
50 &#13;
sebesar 132,62&#13;
ppm dan semakin toksik dengan nilai LC&#13;
50 &#13;
sebesar 31,6 ppm. Isolat TCA 1.2.3&#13;
merupakan senyawa triterpenoid yang diduga senyawa euphol.&#13;
&#13;

Antioxidant and cytotoxic activity from aceton extracts of cacao pod husk&#13;
(Theobroma cacao L.) ware tested using 1,1-diphenyl-2-pycrixlhidrazil (DPPH) and&#13;
Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) methods. The chemical components were&#13;
separated by using column chromatography and obtained 11 fractions (TCA 1-TCH&#13;
11). The TCA 6 fraction showed the highest antioxidant activity with IC&#13;
50&#13;
 of  7,37&#13;
ppm while the TCA 2 fraction showed the highest cytotoxic activity with LC&#13;
50&#13;
 of&#13;
10,96 ppm. Further isolation was carried out on the TCA 1 fraction because it had&#13;
good LC&#13;
50&#13;
 of 100 ppm and IC&#13;
50&#13;
 which is still a potential antioxidant, also had large&#13;
mass of 1,61 g. The isolation results neutral fraction TCA 1.2.3 showed the higher&#13;
antioxidant activity with IC&#13;
50&#13;
 of 132,62 ppm and more toxic with LC&#13;
50&#13;
 of 31,6 ppm.&#13;
