ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan karakteristik pengelola keuangan sekolah berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan dana BOS. Pengujian dilakukan pada 35 SMA/SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa penyebaran kuesioner kepada 105 responden yang terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Komite Sekolah, dan Bendahara. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial transparansi dan akuntabilitas berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan dana BOS, sedangkan karakteristik pengelola keuangan sekolah secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan dana BOS. Secara simultan variabel transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan karakteristik pengelola keuangan sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan dana BOS. Kata Kunci: Transparansi, Akuntabilitas, Karakteristik Pengelolaan Keuangan Sekolah, Efektivitas Pengelolaan ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether transparency, accountability, and characteristics of school financial managers influence the effectiveness of BOS fund management. The test was carried out on 35 SMA/SMK Negeri in Aceh Besar District. This study uses primary data in the form of questionnaires to 105 respondents consisting of Principals, School Committees, and Treasurers. This research uses saturated samples. The results showed that partially transparency and accountability had an effect on the effectiveness of the management of BOS funds, while the characteristics of school financial managers did not partially affect the effectiveness of the management of BOS funds. Simultaneously the variables of transparency, accountability, and characteristics of school financial managers significantly influence the effectiveness of BOS fund management.
