ABSTRAK&#13;
Perilaku caring merupakan inti dalam asuhan keperawatan. Perilaku caring merupakan suatu sikap, rasa peduli, hormat dan menghargai orang lain. Perilaku caring perawat memberikan dampak bagi pasien maupun perawat. Kesembuhan pasien akan menjadi kepuasan tersendiri bagi perawat yang merawat pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat di Rumah Sakit Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif eksploratif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convienence sampling dengan jumlah sampel 44 responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner baku Caring Behavior Assessment (CBA) dengan tiga hasil indikator tinggi, sedang, rendah menggunakan metode wawancara terpimpin. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 81% pasien memiliki persepsi tinggi terhadap perilaku caring perawat. Namun masih ada perilaku caring perawat yang belum terlaksana secara optimal, yaitu dimensi membantu /mempercayai, mengajar/belajar dan  eksistensial fenomenologi. Direkomendasikan kepada perawat untuk mempertahankan dan terus meningkatkan perilaku caring dengan melakukan pertemuan dan pemberian materi terkait perilaku caring yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz Universitas Syiah Kuala BandaAceh.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
&#13;
Caring  behavior is the main purpose  of nursing.  The caring behavior is an attitude,  care, respect  and appreciates  towards  other. This behavior  influence  both patients and nurses. The patient's  recovery  will be a satisfaction  for both patients  and nurses.  This research aims to detennine  the overview nurse caring behavior perceived by the patients at Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Hospital of Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh. The type of this research is exploratory descriptive. The sampling technique  used is convenience  sampling with 44 respondents. The data collection instrument used was a standard questionnaire  of Caring Behavior Assessment (CBA) with three indicator results, which are high, medium, and low perceptions  and by using the guided interview.  This research shows that 81 % of the patients  have a high perception  of the caring behavior  of the nurse. However,  some behaviors    have   not   been   implemented    optimally,   which   are   the   dimension   of helping/trusting, teaching/learning, and existential phenomenology. The nurse is recommended to keep maintaining  and improving  their  caring behavior  by holding the meeting and providing material concerning the caring behavior that is expected to improve the service quality ofthe hospital.&#13;
