Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh sistem kompensasi dan penghargaan terhadap kinerja pegawai serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja kantor pusat administrasi Universitas Syiah Kuala. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini ialah 187 orang. Teknik pengambilan  sampel  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  simple random samplingyaitu dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi. Model pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SEM melalui sofware AMOS. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sistem kompensasi dan penghargaan, lingkungan kerja, dan kedisiplinan, kinerja pegawai dan kinerja Organisasi Kantor Pusat Administrasi Univeristas Syiah Kuala yang berada pada nilai yang baik. (2) Sistem kompensasi / penghargaan, lingkungan kerja, dan kedisiplinan secara simultan dan partial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pusat Administrasi Univeristas Syiah Kuala. (3) Dan sistem kompensasi / penghargaan, lingkungan kerja, dan kedisiplinan secara simultan dan partial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi Kantor Pusat Administrasi Univeristas Syiah Kuala.&#13;

This study aims at determining the effect of compensation and reward systems toward employees’ performance and its impact on the performance of the Administrative Headquarters of Syiah Kuala University. The number of respondents was 187 participants. In obtaining the respondents, the researcher uses the simple random sampling technique, in which selecting the sample randomly regardless educational level of the population. The measurement model used in this study is SEM through AMOS software. The study reveals that: (1) The compensation and reward systems, work environment, discipline, employees’ performance and organizational performance  of the Administrative Headquarters of Syiah Kuala University are in a good value; (2) Compensational system/reward system, work environment, and discipline simultaneously and partially affect the performance of employees at the Administrative Headquarters of Syiah Kuala University; and (3) Compensational system/reward system, work environment, and discipline simultaneously and partially affect the organizational performance of the Administrative Headquarters of Syiah Kuala University.&#13;
