ABSTRAK &#13;
&#13;
Keterampilan metakognisi memungkinkan siswa berkembang  menjadi pebelajar &#13;
mandiri karena menjadi manager atas diri sendiri serta menjadi penilai atas&#13;
pemikiran dan pembelajarannya sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk&#13;
mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik&#13;
dengan menggunakan strategi metakognisi pada materi sistem peredaran darah&#13;
manusia di SMA Negeri  Trumon Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Metode yang&#13;
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah True Eksperiment dengan bentuk PretestPostest&#13;
&#13;
Control Group Design. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random&#13;
sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 223 peserta didik dengan&#13;
jumlah sampel 150 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data hasil  belajar dan&#13;
keterampilan berpikir kritis dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pretes dan postes&#13;
dalam bentuk tes objektif. Analisis hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis &#13;
dengan menggunakan uji t. Nilai uji t pada    = 0,05 untuk hasil belajar diperoleh&#13;
hasil uji t SMAN 1 Trumon Timur t-hitung (3,259) &gt; t-tabel (1,717), SMAN&#13;
Trumon 1 Tengah t-hitung (5,106) &gt; t-tabel (1,708), SMAN 1 Trumon t-hitung &#13;
(4,723) &gt; t-tabel (1,701). Nilai uji t keterampilan berpikir kritis pada   = 5% &#13;
SMAN 1 Trumon Timur diperoleh t-hitung (2,314) &gt; t-tabel (1,717), SMAN 1&#13;
Trumon Tengah t-hitung (2,181) &gt; t-tabel (1,708), SMAN 1 Trumon t-hitung&#13;
(2,644) &gt; t-tabel (1,701). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan&#13;
hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan menggunakan&#13;
strategi metakognisi pada materi sistem peredaran darah di SMAN Trumon&#13;
Kabupaten Aceh Selatan.&#13;

ABSTRACT &#13;
Metacognition skills enable students to develop into independent learners because&#13;
they become managers of themselves and become assessors of their own thinking&#13;
and learning. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in learning&#13;
outcomes and critical thinking skills of students by using metacognition strategies&#13;
on human blood of circulation system material in Trumon Senior High School,&#13;
South Aceh Regency. The method used in this study is True Experiment in the&#13;
form of Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Sample selection is done by&#13;
random sampling. The population in this study were 223 students with a sample of&#13;
150 students. Data collection techniques of learning outcomes and critical&#13;
thinking skills are carried out by giving pretest and posttest in the form of&#13;
objective tests. Analysis of learning outcomes and critical thinking skills using the&#13;
t test. The t-test value at ? = 0,05 for learning outcomes obtained by t test results&#13;
of SMAN 1 Trumon Timur t-count (3.259) &gt; t-table (1,717), SMAN Trumon 1&#13;
