The goal of this study is to knowhow accurate the Acehnese to English translation of verbal and nominal sentences and to prove whether verbal sentences are translated with better accuracy by Acehnese high school students. The subjects of this study were 31 students of eleventh grade (class X1.2) in SMAN 01 Sawang whose first language is Acehnese. Qualitative study used as a method to obtain the data. The researcher use translation test to get data then researcher analysis data. From the result of data analysis revealed that the students could translate verbal sentences better than nominal sentences.
