MOTIVASI MENONTON TAYANGAN INDONESIA LAWYERS CLUB DI TV ONE (Studi Korelasional Tentang Motivasi Menonton Tayangan Indonesia Lawyers Club Di TV One Terhadap Wawasan Mahasiswa Kota Subulussalam Di Banda Aceh) SULVIA NUR PUTRI R 1210102010120 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Motivasi Menonton Tayangan Indonesia Lawyers Club di TV One (Studi Korelasional Motivasi Menonton Tayangan Indonesia Lawyers Club di TV One Terhadap Wawasan Mahasiswa Kota Subulussalam di Banda Aceh). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara motivasi menonton ILC di TV One terhadap wawasan mahasiswa Kota Subulussalam di Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif, yaitu metode yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan, mengklarifikasikan, menganalisis dengan cara yang sistematis, terkontrol, dengan menggunakan model-model matematis. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada asrama putra dan asrama putri mahasiswa Kota Subulussalam, dan yang menjadi responden dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Kota Subulussalam di Banda Aceh. Teori pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah teori uses and gratification. Populasi yang digunakan berjumlah 540 orang. Sampel penelitian yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin yaitu menjadi 84 orang. Dengan teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan teknik penarikan data menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden menyatakan sangat setuju yaitu 48.8% atau 41 responden menonton tayangan ILC untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, sedangkan mahasiswa juga setuju menonton untuk mendapatkan wawasan dengan 59.5% atau 50 orang responden. Dalam menganalisis data penelitian menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, sedangkan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji signifikan koefesien korelasi (uji t), dan hasil pengujian hipotesis (Ha) diterima, dan diperoleh r = 0.637. Dan hasilnya ialah terdapat hubungan yang cukup berarti antara motivasi menonton tayangan Indonesia Lawyers Club di TV One terhadap wawasan mahasiswa Kota Subulussalam di Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study was to determine how the relationship between motivation to watch ILC on TV One and the insights of the students of the City of Subulussalam in Banda Aceh. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method, a method that aims to collect, clarify, analyze in a systematic, controlled manner, using mathematical models. This research was conducted at the male dormitory and female student dormitory of Subulussalam City, and the respondents of this study were Subulussalam City students in Banda Aceh. Supporting theory in this research is the uses and gratification theory. The population used was 540 people. Research samples obtained using the Slovin formula are 84 people. With the sampling technique using purposive sampling and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents stated strongly agree that 48.8% or 41 respondents watched ILC shows to gain knowledge, while students also agreed to watch to gain insight with 59.5% or 50 respondents. In analyzing research data using the validity and reliability test, while to test the hypothesis using a significant correlation coefficient test (t test), and the results of hypothesis testing (Ha) are accepted, and obtained r = 0.637.
