PREVALENSI PENYAKIT BERDASARKAN SPESIES PADA KUCING YANG DIRAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT HEWAN PENDIDIKAN (RSHP) PROF. DR. NOERJANTO ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui jenis dan prevalensi penyakit pada berbagai spesies kucing yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Hewan Pendidikan (RSHP) Prof. Dr. Noerjanto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan rancangan studicross sectional dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari data yang dikumpulkan akan dihitung prevalensi dan dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan odds rasio (rasio kemungkinan). Dalam penelitian ini paparan adalah spesies penyakit, sedangkan outcome adalah penyakit yang menyerang kucing lalu kriteria inklusi dari penelitian ini meliputi semua kucing yang dirawat atau diperiksa kesehatannya di Rumah Sakit Hewan Pendidikan (RSHP) Prof. Dr. Noerjanto. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa jenis penyakit yang menyerang kucing domestik dan kucing persia yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Hewan Pendidikan (RSHP) Prof. Dr. Noejanto yaitu helminthiasis, scabiosis, cat flu, feline calicivirus dan ringworm. Penyakit dengan prevalensi tertinggi pada spesies kucing domestik yaitu cat flu dengan prevalensi 33,3% sedangkan pada kucing persia yaitu ringworm dengan prevalensi 50%. Hasil perbandingan odds rasio (rasio kemungkinan) pada kucing domestik dan kucing persia yaitu pada penyakit helminthiasis sebesar 2,186 scabiosis 1,581, cat flu 2,000, feline calicivirus 1,440 dan ringworm 0,225. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kucing domestik lebih rentan terinfeksi berbagai penyakit dibandingkan dengan kucing persia. NOERJANTO ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the type and prevalence of disease in various cat species treated in Animal Hospital (RSHP) Prof. Dr. Noerjanto. This study was a descriptive observational study with a sectional studicross design and analyzed descriptively. From the data collected will be calculated prevalence and continued with the calculation of the odds ratio. In this study exposure was a species of disease, while outcome was a disease that attacked cats and the inclusion criteria of this study included all cats treated or examined at Animal Hospital (RSHP) Prof. Dr. Noerjanto. The results of this study shows that there are several diseases that attack domestic and persian cats treated at Animal Hospital (RSHP) Prof. Dr. Noerjanto are helminthiasis, scabiosis, cat flu, feline calicivirus and ringworm. The disease with the highest prevalence in domestic cats species is cat flu with a prevalence of 3.33% while in persian cats is ringworm with a prevalence of 50%. The odds ratio of domestic cats and persian cats was helminthiasis 2,186, scabiosis 1,581, cat flu 2,000, feline calicivirus 1,440, and ringworm 0,225. From this study it can be concluded that domestic cats are more susceptible to disease compared to persian cats.
