Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sediaan jenis kosmetik body lotion yang&#13;
mengandung logam Hg di kota Banda Aceh. Kadar logam Hg di dalam body lotion&#13;
dipreparasi dengan destruksi basah dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Cold Vapour&#13;
Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (CVAAS). Sampel yang digunakan dalam&#13;
penelitian ini adalah 11 sampel dari 22 sampel yang dipilih secara purpossive&#13;
sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel positif mengandung Hg&#13;
dengan kode TB&#13;
3&#13;
= 0,046, TB&#13;
6&#13;
= 0,001, dan TB&#13;
= 0,0040 ppb. Konsentrasi yang&#13;
diperoleh masih di bawah ambang baku yang telah ditetapkan oleh Balai Pengawasan&#13;
Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) yaitu sebesar 1 mg/L.  &#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
 &#13;

The aim of this work is to determine the concentration of mercury in body lotion &#13;
from several brands that are available in Banda Aceh. The mercury in body lotions&#13;
were prepared by wet destruction and analysis by using a Cold Vapour Atomic&#13;
Absorption Spectroscopy (CVAAS). There are 22 samples and 11 of them have &#13;
been selected by using purpossive sampling. The positive results were obtained from&#13;
samples code TB&#13;
3&#13;
= 0.046, TB&#13;
6&#13;
= 0.01, and TB&#13;
= 0.004 ppb respectively. These&#13;
results indicated the mercury level was still lower than 1 mg/L the threshold by drug&#13;
and food control centers (BPOM). &#13;
