Abstrak Judul : Perilaku Masyarakat terhadap Permintaa Cryptocurrency di Banda Aceh Nama : Muhammad Zul Mausir NIM : 1401101010078 Fakultas : Ekonomi dan Bisnis Jurusan : Ekonomi Pembangunan Pembimbing : Dr.Chenny Seftarita, S.E.,M.Si Konsentrasi : Ekonomi Moneter Tujuan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku masyarakat terhadap permintaan cryptocurrency di kota Banda Aceh. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah random purposive sampling dan sumber data diperoleh melalui wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap masyarakat yang menggunakan cryptocurrency di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengolahan data berupa; editing, interpretasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa mayoritas pengguna cryptocurrency adalah masyarakat yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan berusia diantara 22 sampai 24 tahun. Motif mereka menggunakan cryptocurrency ini karena peluang keuntunggan yang didapat ketika berinvestasi lebih besar dan mudah. Kata kunci: cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, Uang digital. This study uses random purposive sampling method in collecting the data where the data is obtained through the interview toward the cryptocurrency user in Banda Aceh. The model analysis that used is the qualitative descriptive analysis by using the following technique tabulation; editing, interpretation, and concluding. Based on the analysis, this study concludes that most of the cryptocurrency user are male that has the range of age between 22 to 24 years old. They use this cryptocurrency in order to raise the profit possibility and make the easiest transactions.
