TINGKAT KEBERHASILAN TRANSFER EMBRIO DI BALAI EMBRIO TERNAK CIPELANG BOGOR, JAWA BARAT ABSTRAK Transfer embrio merupakan salah satu teknologi reproduksi untuk meningkatkan mutu genetik ternak dalam waktu yang singkat. Keberhasilan aplikasi transfer embrio di lapangan perlu didukung oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah performa reproduksi ternak yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas ternak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio dengan menggunakan embrio sapi donor FH impor, Simmental, Limousin dan Belgian Blue di Balai Embrio Ternak Cipelang. Kegiatan meliputi 3 tahap kegiatan, yaitu produksi embrio secara in vivo, transfer embrio, dan pemeriksaan kebuntingan. Data tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio dilakukan dengan pengamatan kebuntingan resipien secara pemerikasan palpasi rektal dan USG. Data tingkat kebuntingan diuji secara deskriptif. Persentase tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio dari bangsa sapi donor FH impor, Simmental, Limousin dan Belgian blue secara berturut adalah sebesar 50,00%; 50,00%; 75,00 % dan 25,00%. Simpulan tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio menggunakan embrio dari sapi donor Limousin lebih baik daripada embrio donor sapi FH impor, Simmental dan Belgian Blue. THE SUCCES RATE OF EMBRYO TRANSFER IN THE CIPELANG CATTLE EMBRYO HALL BOGOR, WEST JAVA ABSTRACT Embryo transfer is one of the reproductive technologies to improve the genetic quality of livestock in a short time. The success of the application of embryo transfer in the field needs to be supported by various factors, one of them is the reproductive performance of livestock that can improve the quality and quantity of livestocked. This activity aims to study the success rate of embryo transfer in imported FH donor cow embryos, Simmental, Limousins and Belgian Blue at the Cipelang Cattle Embryo Hall. These activity includes three stages, namely reproduction of the embryo in vivo, embryo transfer, and pregnancy examination. Data on the success rate of embryo transfer was carried out by observing pregnancy of resipien by examining rectal palpation and USG. Pregnancy level data was tested descriptively. The percentage rate of success embryo transfers in the imported, Simmental, Limousine and Belgian Blue of FH donors in a row is 50.00%; 50.00%; 75.00% and 25.00%. Conclusions on the success rate of embryo transfer using embryos from cattle Limousine donors are better than imported FH cow donor embryos, Simmental and Belgian Blue.
