PENANGANAN DAN PERAWATAN PROLAPSUS ANI PADA KUCING
ABSTRAK
Prolapsus ani adalah prortusion atau keluarnya satu atau lebih lapisan rektum melalui anal orifisium. Prolapsus ani terbagi menjadi dua yaitu prolapsus ani persial dan prolapsus ani komplet. Prolapsus ani sering terjadi pada hewan muda, setengah baya, hingga tua, sehingga hewan akan mudah mengalami prolapsus akibat dyschezia dan tenesmus yang terus menerus. Sehinggah penulis tertarik untuk menyampaikan tujuan kegiatan yaitu untuk mengetahui cara penanganan dan perawatan prolapsus ani pada kucing yang dilakukan di Ratu Pet Care. Penanganan prolapsus ani dilakuakan dengan cara reposisi rektum, reposisi rektum dilakukan apabila prolapsus ani belum lama terjadi dan belum banyak kerusakan pada mukosa rektum, serta dipertahankan dengan pola jahitan purse string. kucing yang telah dilakukan penanganan prolapsus ani, lebih baik dirawat di klinik atau Rumah Sakit Hewan agar mendapat perawatan yang intensif dari paramedik veteriner untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan operasi prolapsus ani.

ABSTRACT

So the authors are interested in conveying the purpose of the activity, which is to find out how to treat and treat prolapse of ani in cats conducted at the Queen of Pet Care. Handling of prolapse is done by repositioning the rectum, rectal repositioning is done when ani prolapse has not been long ago and there has not been much damage to the rectal mucosa, and is maintained with a pattern of suture string purse. cats that have been treated with prolapse, are better treated at a clinic or Animal Hospital to receive intensive care from veterinary paramedics to improve the success of ANSI.
