ABSTRAK

Hingga saat ini, kota Banda Aceh terus mengalami perkembangan pesat baik dalam
infrastruktur, transportasi maupun peningkatan populasi. Sebagai akibatnya, hal ini
mempengaruhi jumlah orang yang melakukan perjalanan untuk kegiatan rutin
mereka. Dengan menghabiskan lebih banyak waktu untuk bepergian memiliki
pengaruh signifikan terhadap biaya pengeluaran transportasi rutin mereka. Oleh
karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rata-rata jumlah biaya
pengeluaran transportasi berdasarkan tingkat pendapatan rumah tangga di Kota
Banda Aceh, mendapatkan model biaya pengeluaran transportasi berdasarkan tingkat
pendapatan rumah tangga dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya.
Total 400 sampel digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pertanyaan kuesioner terkait
tentang karakteristik perilaku perjalanan dan sosial-ekonomi ditabulasikan menjadi
variabel bebas (X) dan biaya pengeluaran transportasi digunakan sebagai variabel
terikatnya (Y). Kuesioner dibagikan pada enam kecamatan di Banda Aceh, yaitu
Syiah Kuala, Ulee Kareng, Lueng Bata, Meuraxa, Kuta Raja dan Kuta Alam, dimana
kecamatan terpilih memiliki jumlah penduduk terbanyak. Metode rata-rata kuadrat
terkecil digunakan untuk mengestimasi parameter regresi model. Hasil dari
penelitian ini didapat 3 (tiga) kelompok model biaya pengeluaran transportasi di Kota
Banda Aceh yaitu tingkat pendapatan rumah tangga < Rp. 2 juta (rendah) dipengaruhi
oleh variabel jumlah pendapatan rumah tangga (X

ANALYSIS OF TRANSPORTATION EXPENDITURE COSTS BASED ON
THE LEVEL OF HOUSEHOLD INCOME IN BANDA ACEH

ABSTRACT

To date, the city of Banda Aceh has continued to experience rapid development both
in infrastructure, transportation and increased in population, as a result, this affecting
the number of people to travel for their routine activities. By spending more time to
traveling has a significant influence on the costs for their routine transportation.
Therefore, this study aims to analyze the average amount of transportation
expenditure cost based on the level of household income in Banda Aceh, obtain the
model of the transportation expenditure costs based on the level of household income
and the factors that influence it. In a total of 400 samples were collected and used in
this study. Questionnaire questions related to travel behavior characteristics and
socio-economic tabulated to be an independent variable and transportation
expenditure costs are used as the dependent variable. The questionnaires were
distributed to six subdistricts in Banda Aceh, namely Syiah Kuala, Ulee Kareng,
Lueng Bata, Meuraxa, Kuta Raja and Kuta Alam, where the selected sub-districts
had the most populated. We performed linear regression model using ordinary least
square method the regression parameter then estimated. The result of this study were
obtained three (3) groups of transportation expenditure costs in Banda Aceh city,
namely the level of household income < 2 million IDR (low income) which variables
that affect the total household income (X
