Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsentasi optimum
vitamin E dalam pakan terhadap pertambahan bobot tubuh, laju pertumbuhan
spesifik, kelangsungan hidup, rasio konversi pakan dan efesiensi pakan ikan kakap

ABSTRACT
The objective of the study was to determine the optimum concentration of
vitamin E in the diet on weight gain, specific growth rate, sulvival rate, feed
convertion rasio and feed efficiency of seabass Lates calcarifer. The study was
conducted from November 2018 to January 2019 at Center for Brackishwater
Aquaculture in Ujong Batee, Aceh Besar District, Indonesia. The completely
randomized design

The seabass body weight ranges from 2 g to 4 g and total length ranges from 5 cm to

. The fish fed at feeding 10% of
body weight, twice daily at morning and evening. The result showed that the feed
with the addition of vitamin E had a significant effect on body weight gain, specific
growth rate, feed convertion rasio, feed efficiency and sulvival rate

of feed.
