FAMILY BURDEN PADA KELUARGA PASIEN PASCA STROKE DENGAN HEMIPARESIS DAN HEMIPLAGIA DI POLIKLINIK SARAF RSUD dr. ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH TAHUN 2014



ABSTRAK

Stroke menimbulkan defisit motorik yang memberikan gejala sisa berupa kelemahan atau bahkan kelumpuhan. Hal ini akan memberikan dampak kepada keluarga yang merupakan orang yang akan merawat mereka ketika pulang di rumah. Dampak ini berupa beban yang dirasakan oleh keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui family burden pada keluarga pasien pasca stroke dengan hemiparesis dan hemiplagia di Poliklinik Saraf BLUD RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2014. Jenis penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan desain cross sectional study. Jumlah populasi 162 orang, pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling pada 65 orang responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 20 Maret hingga 1 April 2014 dengan menggunakan kuesioner berupa 30 pernyataan dalam bentuk skala likert. Hasil penelitian: family burden pada keluarga pasca stroke dengan hemiparesis dan hemiplagia di Poliklinik Saraf BLUD RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2014 berada pada kategori rendah (55,4%), beban objektif pada kategori rendah (52,3%), dan beban subjektif pada kategori tinggi (60%). Disarankan bagi rumah sakit agar memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada pasien dan keluarga ketika hendak pulang agar dapat mengurangi kecemasan dalam merawat pasien.

FAMILY BURDEN AMONG FAMILY WITH PATIENT OF POST STROKE HEMIPARALYSIS AND HEMIPLAGY IN NEUROLOGY POLIKLINIC OF ZAINOEL ABIDIN GENERAL HOSPITAL BANDA ACEH IN 2014

ABSTRACT

Stroke make affecting motoric deficit who give residue indication as weakness or even paralysis. This condition gives impect for family who take care of the patien at home. The impact is a family burden include physiological and psycological. The aim of the research was to identify family burden among family with patien of post stroke hemiparalysis and hemiplagy in neurology polyclinic of Zainoel Abidin general hispitas Banda Aceh in 2014. The research used explorative with cross secsional study design with 162 populations. Sampling technic used porpusive sampling for 65 respondents. Data collection was conducted between 20th March and 1st April 2014 using questionnaires i.e 30 statements in Likert scale. The result of the research : family burden among family with patient of stroke hemiparalysis and hemiplagia in neurology poliklinic of Zainoel Abidin general hospitas Banda Aceh in 2014 was atv low category (55,4%), burden of objective was atv low category (52,3%), and objective burden at higt category (60%). It is recommended for general hospital to provide health education for patient and family in discharge planning phase. Hence, it reduces anxiety and burden of family in taking care of the patient.
