 <note>This research is intended to explore some theories and research findings to find out whether the use of Think-Pair-Share can improve the students’ ability in reading or not by analyzing some theories and research findings releted to the use of Think-Pair-Share in teaching reading. It is focused on the use of Think-Pair-Share technique in improving students’ reading comprehension at senior high school level. This study used library research which the data were collected from various books, documents, journals, articles and other sources. The data include the statements and/or theories suggested by the specialists particularly all theories related to Think-Pair-Share. Many research findings indicate that the use of Think-Pair-Share technique is effective in improving students’ ability in reading comprehension because the technique motivates students to read and interacts with other in classroom. Therefore, the writer recommends English teachers to use the technique in teaching reading. This study is expected to be useful for English teachers in teaching reading, students in learning reading comprehension, and further researchers in carrying out similar research.</note>
