 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai analisa sifat suseptibilitas magnetik&#13;
batuan pada daerah geothermal di kawasan Ie Jue Aceh Besar. Tujuan penelitian&#13;
ini adalah untuk mengetahui variasi suseptibilitas di kawasan sumber geothermal&#13;
dan daerah sekitarnya, serta hubungan sumber panas dari geothermal terhadap&#13;
suseptibilitas magnetik batuan, dan mengetahui mineral yang terkandung pada&#13;
batuannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah teknik geomagnetik. Data yang&#13;
diperoleh berupa suhu, dan suseptibilitas magnetik batuan pada setiap titik&#13;
pengukuran. Analisa Distribusi suseptibilitas terhadap nilai suhu digambarkan&#13;
dengan menggunakan Software Surfer 10 dan Microsof Excel 2007. Hasil&#13;
penelitian menunjukkan suhu maksimum 98 °C dan minimum 30,6 °C, sedang&#13;
suseptibilitas magnetik maksimum sebesar 44,5x10-6, dan minimum 0,07x10-6.&#13;
Didapat adanya variasi suseptibilitas di kawasan sumber geotermal dengan daerah&#13;
sekitarnya, dan adanya korelasi suhu terhadap nilai suseptibilitas magnetik batuan,&#13;
dimana suhu berbanding terbalik dengan suseptiblitas. Demagnetisasi terjadi yaitu&#13;
pada suhu rata-rata diatas 48 °C. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sampel batuan daerah&#13;
penelitian menggunakan X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) menunjukkan nilai&#13;
suseptibilitas dipengaruhi oleh kandungan bahan paramagnetik Al2O3 (aluminum&#13;
oksida) dan ferromagnetik Fe2O3 (hematite). di dalam batuan tersebut. Hal ini&#13;
menunjukkan bahwa pada kawasan geothermal tersebut terdapat kandungan&#13;
material magnetik Al2O3 dan Fe2O3 yang cukup signifikan mempengaruhi sifat&#13;
magnetik batuan.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
Has conducted research on the analysis of the nature of the magnetic&#13;
susceptibility of rock geothermal areas in Aceh Besar district Jue Ie. The purpose&#13;
of this study was to determine the susceptibility variations in geothermal resource&#13;
areas and surrounding areas, as well as the relationship of a geothermal heat&#13;
source to the magnetic susceptibility of rocks, minerals and knowing the rock. The&#13;
method used is a geomagnetic technique. Data obtained in the form of&#13;
temperature, and magnetic susceptibility rocks at each measurement&#13;
point. Distribution analysis of susceptibility to temperature values described using&#13;
Surfer10 Software and Microsof Excel 2007. The results showed a maximum&#13;
temperature of 98 °C and minimum 30.6 °C, while the maximum magnetic&#13;
susceptibility 44.5x10-6, and 0.07x10-6 minimum. Acquired susceptibility&#13;
variations in geothermal resource areas with the surrounding area, and the&#13;
correlation of temperature on the value of magnetic susceptibility of rocks, where&#13;
the temperature is inversely proportional to susceptiblity. The demagnetization&#13;
occurs at temperatures average above 48 °C. Based on the analysis of the study&#13;
area rock samples using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) shows the value of&#13;
susceptibility is influenced by Al2O3 content of paramagnetic materials (aluminum&#13;
oxide) and ferromagnetic Fe2O3 (hematite). in these rocks. This suggests that the&#13;
geothermal area of the magnetic material content contained Al2O3 and Fe2O3&#13;
significantly affect the magnetic properties of rocks.&#13;
