Dr. Muhammad Arfan, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA ABSTRAK Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh modal intelektual dan financial leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 143 perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013-2016. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengujian hipotesis. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sensus. Data diperoleh dari laporan tahunan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) modal intelektual berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas; (2) financial leverage berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas; (3) modal intelektual berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan; (4) financial leverage berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan; (5) profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan; (6) profitabilitas dapat memediasi pengaruh modal intelektual terhadap nilai perusahaan; (7) profitabilitas dapat memediasi pengaruh financial leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan. Dr. Muhammad Arfan, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA ABSTRACT The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of intellectual capital and financial leverage on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable. The population of this study was 143 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016. The type of research used is hypothesis testing. Sources of data from this study are secondary data. The method used in this study is the census method. Data is obtained from annual reports and analyzed using path analysis methods. The results of the study show that: (1) intellectual capital has a positive effect on profitability; (2) financial leverage has a positive effect on profitability; (3) intellectual capital has a positive effect on firm value; (4) financial leverage has a positive effect on firm value; (5) profitability has a positive effect on firm value; (6) profitability can mediate the influence of intellectual capital on firm value; (7) profitability can mediate the effect of financial leverage on firm value.
