Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh Tahun 2012 ABSTRAK Diabetes menjadi masalah yang sangat serius terkait dengan bahaya komplikasi yang ditimbulkan, salah satu komplikasi yang paling ditakuti banyak penderita diabetes yaitu ulkus diabetik. Ulkus diabetik yang kronis dapat menjadi lebih parah dan berujung pada amputasi sehingga mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas hidup pasien yang mengalami ulkus diabetik di Poliklinik Endokrin Rumah sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif research dan desain cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 responden dengan menggunakan rumus slovin sampel berjumlah 33 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara terpimpin menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skala likert 5 poin dengan 26 item pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kualitas hidup pasien ulkus diabetik dan kesehatan secara umum berada pada kategori kurang dengan frekuensi 19 orang (57,6%). Ditinjau dari dimensi kesehatan fisik berada pada kategori kurang dengan frekuensi 25 orang (75,8%). Untuk dimensi kesehatan psikologis berada pada kategori baik dengan frekuensi 17 orang (51,5%). Dimensi hubungan sosial pada kategori baik dengan frekuensi 30 orang (90,9%). Dimensi lingkungan berada pada kategori kurang dengan frekuensi 19 orang (57,6%). Diharapkan pada penyedia pelayanan kesehatan, keluarga serta masyarakat untuk senantiasa memberi suport dan motivasi kepada pasien dengan ulkus diabetik agar tetap pada kondisi kesehatan optimum, dapat berfungsi dengan baik serta dapat berproduktivitas. ZAINOEL ABIDIN GENERAL HOSPITAL BANDA ACEH IN 2012 ABSTRACT Diabetes becomes a major problem regarding dangerous complications. One of the most fearful complications by patients with diabetes is diabetic ulcer. A chronic diabetic foot ulcer can be severe and lead to amputation so that affects the quality of life of the patients. The research aims to know affects the quality of life of the patients with diabetic foot ulcer in the polyclinic endocrine of dr. ZainoelAbidin general hospital Banda Aceh by using descriptive research and cross sectional study design. The population in the research is 50 respondents by using Slovin formula the sample is obtained 33 respondents. The data collection technic is guided interview using questionnaire in the form of 5 point-Likert consisting 26 questions. The result of the research obtained that the quality of life of patients with diabetic foot ulcer generally is in low category with frequency 19 people (57, 6 %). Reviewed from physical health dimension, it is in low category with frecuency 25 people (75,8%). The psychological health dimension is in good category with frequency 17 people (51,5%). The social relationship demension is in good category with frequency 30 people (90,9%). The environment demension is in low category with frequency 19people (57,6%). It is suggested for healthcare providers, family, and community to give motivation for patients with diabetic foot ulcer so that they are in the high level of their health and do their functions well and can implement their productivity.
