Pada era modern yang serba cepat seperti sekarang ini, masyarakat global dituntut harus selalu tampil sehat dan bugar terutama masyarakat yang hidup di perkotaan yang sehari-harinya bekerja. Terutama wanita, mereka lebih rentan terhadap setress. Dalam menghilangkan kepenatan dan kembali bugar tentunya para wanita perkotaan ini akan mencari tempat-tempat entertainment yang dapat menunjang kesehatan tubuh serta membuat pikiran kembali relaks. Hal ini akan menjadi pertimbangan dalam mendesain pusat kebugaran dan spa dengan pendekatan natural konsep di Banda Aceh. Konsep natural yang diterapkan akan menciptakan ciri khas dengan suasana alami. Material yang akan juga harus diperhatikan dengan baik agar tersampaikannya konsep natural kepada pengguna. Material yang akan digunakan kayu, bambu, batu alam, serta bahan material alami lainnya. Pusat Kebugaran dan Spa ini berada dipusat kota Banda Aceh, sehingga masyarakat kota tidak perlu jauh-jauh pergi ke daerah pegunungan atau pedesaan untuk mencari suasana alami karena suasana alami ini akan hadir ditengah kota pada bangunan pusat kebugaran dan spa yang akan dirancang.

FITNESS AND SPA CENTER DESIGN IN BANDA ACEH

Working under continuous work pressure and competition makes people today very prone to stress. Thereore, keeping oneself in very good health condition and avoiding stress are amongst lifestyle of people today, especially those living in the urban area. Especially women, they are more vulnerable to stress. In eliminating fatigue and re-fit of course this urban woman community will find entertainment places that can support the health of the body and make the mind relaxed again. This will be a consideration in designing a fitness center and spa using a natural concept approach. The applied natural concept will bring nature inside a building in which gives relaxing atmosphere. Materials that will also have to be considered well in order to convey the concept of nature are wood, bamboo, natural stone, as well as other natural materials. The Spa and Fitness Center is located in the city center of Banda Aceh, so users do not have to travel all the way to the mountains or countryside to seek a natural setting as this natural atmosphere will be present in the middle of the city in the gym and spa building that will be designed.
