Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis Karakteristik unsur-unsur iklim dan pergeseran musim tanam serta hubungannya terhadap produktifitas hasil tanaman padi dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun. Penelitian ini bersifat diskriptif yang dititik beratkan pada penerapan musim tanam terhadap Karakteristik unsur-unsur iklim yang dikaji adalah permasalahan iklim yang dihadapi saat ini. Jenis data yang diambil adalah data sekunder dari BPP Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Selanjutnya analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda, Y sebagai  produktifitas padi (ton/ha) dan X sebagai unsur iklim yang berupa curah hujan, kelembaban, suhu dan musim tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata Karakteristik iklim dapat mempengaruhi hasil rata-rata produktifitas padi sebesar 6,55 ton/tahun dengan total rata-rata curah hujan adalah 1.942,30 mm/tahun, suhu sebesar 27,55 oC dengan penggolongan panas dan kelembaban sebesar 78,23% dengan indek kelembaban basah. Rata-rata pergeseran musim tanam gadu di Kecamatan Bandar Baru selama 22 hari, Bandar Dua selama 20 hari dan Meureudu selama 19 hari, akan tetapi terjadi pergeseran rata-rata musim tanam rendengan di Kecamatan Bandar Baru selama 19 hari, Bandar Dua selama 17 hari dan Meureudu selama 18 hari dan berhubungan negatif yang nyata antara pergeseran musim tanam dan Karakteristik iklim, sehingga tingkat produktifitas padi terjadi penurunan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 46,82 persen; 54,47 persen dan 21,83 persen&#13;

Research aims to analyze characteristics of unsur-unsur climate and shifting a growing season and productivity relation to the result of rice in the last 10 years. This research is diskriptif which rests on the application of of the growing season and adaptation farmers on changes in climate elements of the study is climate problems faced by now. The kind of data that taken is secondary data from BPP in Pidie Jaya district. Further analysis data using linear regression multiple, Y as produksifitas rice (tons/ha) and X as a climate of rainfall, moisture, temperature and a growing season. The research results show that the average changes in the climate can be affecting the results of this licensing process for rice productivity as much as 6,55 tons on higher demand for / year with different kinds of total average area of the precipitation of rain is 1.942,30 mm / years , the temperature of as much as seven office channeling 27,55 with the categorization of heat and moisture of its as much as 78,23 % with moisture wet index. The average shift the growing season gadu in bandar baru district for 22 day, bandar dua for 20 days and meureudu for 19 day, but happened shift the average a growing season rendengan in bandar baru district for 19 day, bandar two for 17 days and meureudu for 18 days and have negative shift real between the growing season and climate change, so the level of rice productivity a decline in the determination of the 46,82 percent; 54,47 percent and 21,83 percent&#13;
