Judul : Gambaran Deposit Kalkulus Berdasarkan pH Air Sumur pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Leupung Di Pesisir Pantai Gampong Deah Mamplam Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Kalkulus merupakan deposit padat yang terbentuk dari plak yang mengalami mineralisasi dan menempel pada gigi yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada jaringan periodontal. Air minum dengan pH yang tinggi >7 (basa) jika dikonsumsi terus-menerus dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi saliva. Dengan bertambahnya konsentrasi saliva akan memudahkan proses pengapuran sehingga deposit kalkulus mudah terbentuk. pH air sumur adalah 7,4. Air sumur memiliki kandungan seperti kalsium dan fosfor yang juga merupakan kandungan dalam pembentukan kalkulus.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran deposit kalkulus berdasarkan pH air sumur pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Leupung di pesisir pantai Gampong Deah Mamplam Kabupaten Aceh Besar.Penelitian ini berupa penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional.Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang dimana subjek masih mengkonsumsi air sumur sebagai sumber air minum dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Data hasil penelitian dikelompokan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, indeks kalkulus dan pH air sumur. Hasil penelitian angka kejadian kalkulus pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Leupung di pesisir pantai Gampong Deah Mamplam Kabupaten Aceh Besar menunjukkan dengan kategori baik berjumlah 25 orang (71,4%), kategori sedang berjumlah 7 orang (20%), dan kategori buruk berjumlah 3 orang (8,6%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa angka kejadian kalkulus pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Leupung di pesisir pantai Gampong Deah Mamplam Kabupaten Aceh Besar termasuk kategori baik, dan juga dapat diambil rata-rata nilai pH air sumur yang di konsumsi oleh subjek penelitian adalah 6,7 (asam).

Title : Description of Deposit Calculus Based on Well pH Water in Students of Leupung 1 Senior High School on the Coast of Gampong Deah Mamplam Beach, Aceh Besar Regency

Calculus is a dense deposit formed from plaque which is mineralized and attached to teeth which can cause damage to the periodontal tissue. Drinking water with a high pH >7 (base) if consumed continuously can increase salivary concentration. With increasing salivary concentration it will facilitate the calcification process so that the calculus deposit is easily formed. the pH of well water is 7,4. Well water has contents such as calcium and phosphorus which are ingredients in the formation of calculus. This research was conducted to determine the description of calculus deposits based on the pH of well water in students of Leupung 1 Senior High School on the coast of Gampong Deah Mamplam, Aceh Besar District. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample taker uses a purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this research were 35 people where subjects still consumed well water as a source of drinking water in their daily lives. The research data are grouped according to gender, calculus index and pH of well water. The results research of calculus incidence in students Leupung 1 Senior High School on the coast of Gampong Deah Mamplam, Aceh Besar Regency showed that there were 25 people in good categories (71.4%), moderate categories were 7 people (20%), and bad categories were 3 people (8.6%). Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the incidence of calculus in students of Leupung 1 Senior High School on the coast of Gampong Deah Mamplam in Aceh Besar Regency is categorized as good, and can also be taken the average pH value of well water consumed by research subjects is 6.7 (acid).
