KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN EPILEPSI DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH MEURAXA BANDA ACEH Oleh: Sri Agustina NIM. 1309200180003 ABSTRAK Kualitas hidup pasien epilepsi berbeda dengan kualitas hidup masyarakat umumnya, pasien epilepsi diharuskan mengkonsumsi obat setiap hari dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Serangan kejang epilepsi yang muncul secara tiba-tiba juga menjadi sebuah hambatan dan menyebabkan rasa malu dan khawatir pada penderitanya. Saat ini telah banyak dilakukan penelitian pada pasien epilepsi namun terdapat sedikit sekali penelitian yang membahas mengenai kualitas hidup pasien epilepsi khususnya di Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang kualitas hidup pasien epilepsi di RSUD Meuraxa Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah secara kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui individual indepth interview. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima orang. Analisa data menggunakan analisa tematik dan didapatkan hasil berupa empat tema yang berkaitan dengan dimensi dalam kualitas hidup. Epileptic seizures that appear suddenly also become an obstacle and cause embarrassment and worry about the sufferer. Currently there have been many studies in epilepsy patients but there are very few studies that discuss the quality of life of epilepsy patients, especially in Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study was to find out about the quality of life of epilepsy patients in Meuraxa General Hospital Banda Aceh. The method of research conducted is qualitatively through a descriptive phenomenology approach, data collection is done through individual indepth interviews. The informants in this study were five people. Data analysis using thematic analysis and the results obtained in the form of four themes relating to dimensions in quality of life.
