Keaksaraan merupakan segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan huruf. Salah satu cara untuk kemampuan keaksaraan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan kartu huruf bergambar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keaksaraan anak usia dini melalui media kartu huruf bergambar di TK Perdamain Singah Mulo Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun pada TK-B Perdamaian Singah Mulo Kabupaten Bener Meriah yang berjumlah 4 anak. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I yang diperoleh anak belum berkembang (BB) tidak terlihat lagi, mulai berkembang (MB) 2 anak, berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) 2 anak, dan berkembang sangat baik (BSB) belum terlihat. Pada siklus II yang diperoleh adalah anak belum berkembang (BB) tidak terlihat lagi, mulai berkembang (MB) 1 anak, berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) 1 anak, berkembang sangat baik (BSB) menjadi 2 anak. Disimpulkan bahwa setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus II diproleh bahwa meningkatnya kemampuan keaksaraan anak meningkat semenjak menggunakan media kartu huruf bergambar, kemampuan keaksaraan anak terlihat anak sudah bisa membedakan simbol huruf, seperti, “A”, “B”, “M”, “K” dan “N”.&#13;

Literacy is everything related to letters. One way for literacy skills can be done using illustrated letter cards. This study aims to improve the literacy skills of early childhood through pictorial letter card media in the Perdamain Singah Mulo Kindergarten in BenerMeriah Regency. This research was conducted using the class action research method (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years at Singah Mulo Peace Kindergarten-B, which consisted of 4 children. Research data is collected through observation and performance. The results of research in the first cycle obtained by undeveloped children (BB) were no longer visible, began to develop (MB) 2 children, developed according to expectations (BSH) 2 children, and developed very well (BSB) not yet seen. In the second cycle it was obtained that the undeveloped child (BB) was no longer seen, began to develop (MB) 1 child, developed according to the expectations (BSH) of 1 child, developed very well (BSB) into 2 children. It was concluded that after the action in the second cycle was obtained that the increase in children's literacy skills increased since using illustrated letter card media, children's literacy ability was seen that children were able to distinguish letters symbols, such as, &quot;A&quot;, &quot;B&quot;, &quot;M&quot;, &quot;K&quot; and &quot;N&quot;.&#13;
