 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Jumlah pengguna internet terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, namun layanan&#13;
internet tidak di semua tempat gratis, contohnya layanan internet di warung kopi&#13;
(warkop). Ketika jumlah pengguna internet meningkat dan jumlah bandwidth&#13;
tidak secara langsung meningkat, layanan internet menjadi lambat atau bahkan&#13;
macet. Hal ini karena tidak adanya pengaturan bandwidth pada alat yang&#13;
disediakan oleh ISP yang dilanggan. Jika pun ada, pengaturan bandwidth&#13;
dilakukan secara flat atau dibagi rata ke masing-masing user, sementara aktivitas&#13;
user berbeda-beda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan&#13;
pengaturan bandwidth internet warkop yang sesuai dengan perilaku pengguna&#13;
internet warkop. Model penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dilakukan untuk&#13;
mendapatkan perilaku pengguna internet warkop, yaitu dengan mendapatkan&#13;
variabel-variabel kuantitatif berupa karakter pengguna, aktivitas internet dan&#13;
bandwidth internet. Data-data ini kemudian diolah menurut mekanisme survei&#13;
cross-sectional. Tahapan penelitian ini meliputi survei, perancangan,&#13;
implementasi, dan pengujian. Indikator produk survei ditunjukkan dalam skala&#13;
nominal, ordinal dan interval. Dari indikator ini disimpulkan sebuah&#13;
pengelompokan bandwidth internet untuk dijadikan rancangan konfigurasi&#13;
MikroTik dan kemudian diimplementasikan dalam bentuk pengelompokkan&#13;
queue tree. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menguji manajemen bandwidth&#13;
pengelompokan queue tree untuk masing-masing kelompok bandwidth. Sehingga&#13;
dengan adanya kelompok queue tree berdasarkan aktivitas pengguna internet di&#13;
warkop, pengguna internet dapat mengakses jaringan internet dengan maksimal&#13;
limit bandwidth sesuai dengan aktivitas yang dilakukan di warkop. Kemudian&#13;
dengan adanya konfigurasi queue tree yang telah dikelompokkan, maka&#13;
bandwidth yang tersedia bisa diatur sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
Number of internet users are increasing every year, but not all internet services provided are free, e.g. in coffee shop (warkop). As the number of internet users increases and volume of bandwidth does not increase directly, the internet service&#13;
becomes slow or even jammed. It occurs due to no bandwidth setting in device&#13;
provided by subscribed ISP. If there any, the setting adjusted bandwidth to be flat&#13;
or shared fairly to each user, although their activities are various. The aim of this&#13;
research is to optimize internet bandwidth setting of coffee shop that compatible&#13;
with its internet users behaviors. The quantitative descriptive research model was&#13;
used to obtain behaviors data of coffee shop’s internet users, i.e. quantitative&#13;
variables such as characters of user, internet activities and internet bandwidth.&#13;
Collected data were processed following cross-sectional survey mechanism.&#13;
Stages of the study were survey, design, implementation, and assessment.&#13;
Indicators of survey products were reported in nominal, ordinal and interval&#13;
scales. These indicators summarized into an internet bandwidth grouping to configure MikroTik design and then implemented in the queue tree grouping. Assessment was accomplished by testing management of bandwidth on queue tree grouping for each bandwidth group. As a result, with the presence of queue tree group based on internet user activities in coffee shop, internet users are able to access internet network with maximum bandwidth limit according to their activities in the coffee shop. Additionally, with the configuration of queue trees that have been grouped, the available bandwidth is able to be set according to the needs of users.&#13;
