ABSTRAK &#13;
Pembangunan jalan kereta api di Provinsi Aceh mulai kembali dilaksanakan pada&#13;
tahun 2007, yang sempat terhenti akibat bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami pada&#13;
tahun 2004. Jalur kereta api yang sudah dibangun pada tahun 2010 yaitu lintasan&#13;
Krueng Geukueh-Krueng Mane, yang meliputi Kecamatan Muara Batu dan&#13;
Dewantara. Prasarana kereta api yang sudah terbangun adalah dipo, stasiun, dan&#13;
jembatan. Dalam pembangunan jalur kereta api di Aceh yang paling penting&#13;
diperhatikan adalah peran serta masyarakat dalam pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana&#13;
kereta api. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk partisipasi, tingkat&#13;
kepedulian, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat dalam&#13;
pemeliharaan prasarana kereta api di lintasan Krueng Geukueh-Krueng Mane.&#13;
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan&#13;
metode kualitatif melalui wawancara. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah&#13;
masyarakat di Kecamatan Muara Batu sebanyak 36 jiwa dan Kecamatan Dewantara&#13;
sebanyak 64 jiwa. Analisa data digunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis faktor&#13;
Principle Component Analysis (PCA) melalui bantuan software Statistical Product&#13;
and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk &#13;
partisipasi masyarakat yang paling dominan adalah masyarakat ikut menjaga, &#13;
memelihara dan meningkatkan kelestarian lingkungan di sekitar kawasan&#13;
pemanfaatan jalur kereta api dengan mean sebesar 4,350, dan masyarakat ikut&#13;
memberikan bantuan pemikiran secara lisan dan tertulis dengan mean sebesar 4,390.&#13;
Tingkat kepedulian masyarakat masih rendah, dengan mean sebesar 3,400, yang&#13;
menunjukkan masyarakat masih kurang setuju dalam berpartisipasi. Faktor yang&#13;
mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemeliharaan prasarana kereta api&#13;
adalah faktor sosialisasi, dimana varians indikator yang bisa dijelaskan oleh faktor&#13;
sosialisasi ini sebesar 91,10%.&#13;

ABSTRACT &#13;
Railroad construction in Aceh Province began to be carried out again in 2007, which&#13;
was halted due to the 2004 earthquake and tsunami. The railway line that was built in&#13;
2010 is the Krueng Geukueh-Krueng Mane route, which includes the Muara Batu&#13;
District and Dewantara. Railway infrastructure that has been built is dipo, station and&#13;
bridge. In the construction of the railway line in Aceh, the most important thing to&#13;
pay attention to is the participation of the community in the maintenance of railroad&#13;
facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to identify the forms of participation,&#13;
level of care, and factors that influence community participation in the maintenance&#13;
of railroad infrastructure on the Krueng Geukueh-Krueng Mane route. This study&#13;
uses quantitative methods through questionnaires and qualitative methods through&#13;
interviews. Respondents in this study were 36 people in Muara Batu Subdistrict and&#13;
64 Dewantara Districts. The data analysis used descriptive analysis and factor&#13;
analysis of Principle Component Analysis (PCA) through the help of Statistical&#13;
Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software version 22. The results showed that&#13;
the most dominant form of community participation was the community who&#13;
participated in maintaining, maintaining and improving environmental sustainability &#13;
around area of railroad utilization with a mean of 4.350, and the community &#13;
participated in giving thought assistance orally and in writing with a mean of 4.390.&#13;
The level of public concern is still low, with a mean of 3.400, which shows people&#13;
are disagree in participating. Factors that influence community participation in the&#13;
maintenance of railroad infrastructure are socialization factors, where the indicator&#13;
variance that can be explained by this socialization factor is 91.10%. &#13;
