ABSTRAK&#13;
 &#13;
Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan hambatan  kurikulum pada  SD Gugus Markisa Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data: observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Guru, dan Pengawas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan kurikulum dilaksanakan meliputi penyusunan kalender akademik sekolah, penyususunan kegiatan intrakurikuler, ekstrakurikuler, dan pembagian tugas mengajar guru. Menyusun program tahunan, program semester, pemetaan KI dan KD berdasarkan tema dari setiap mata pelajaran dalam tema tertentu, perumusan silabus, KKM, dan Penyusunan  RPP.  Semua  tahap ini dilaksanakan dengan efektif oleh guru-guru;  (2) Pelaksanaan kurikulum selalu berpedoman pada perencanaan yang telah ditetapkan. Proses pelaksanaan tergambar adanya peningkatan disiplin guru dan siswa, berjalannya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, adanya pembinaan siswa, baik melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, maupun kegiatan-kegiatan lain yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan pembelajaran,  sehingga  berdampak positif  terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan; (3) Evaluasi  kurikulum  yang dilaksanakan  oleh kepala sekolah dan guru-guru untuk mengetahui tingkat capaian program. Adanya kegiatan evaluasi dapat diketahui tingkat kinerja guru dan keberhasilan siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan,  sehingga  berpengaruh  terhadap  peningkatan  mutu  pendidikan; dan (4) Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum bahwa belum terlaksananya semua program kurikulum sebagaimana yang telah ditetapkan, baik oleh kepala sekolah maupun guru. &#13;

The aim of this research is to examine the planning, implementation, evaluation, and obstacle of the curriculum at elementary schools in Markisa Cluster in Baiturrahaman Sub-district in Banda Aceh. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collecting techniques are through observation, interview, and documentary study. The subjects of this research are the principals, teachers, and supervisors. The results of this research are: (1) Curriculum planning is done through drafting the school academic calendar, planning the intra-curricular activities, planning the extracurricular activities, and organizing teachers teaching schedule. There are also some things done effectively by teachers which are planning annual program and semester programs, mapping the core competencies and basic competencies based on the themes for each subject, drafting syllabus and minimum criteria for learning achievement, and also drafting the lessons plan; (2) The implementation of curriculum is based on the authorized planning. The process can be seen in the improvement of teachers and students discipline, the completed intra-curricularactivities or other activities related to learning improvement which results positively in the education quality improvement; (3) curriculum evaluation is conducted by the principals and teachers to examine the level of program achievement. By doing the evaluation, teachers performance and students achievements in following the learning process can be defined. It will then influence the education quality; and (4) The obstacles in the curriculum implementation are the programs planning are not completely implemented both by the principals and teachers. &#13;
