Pembuatan dan analisis mutubriketdarilimbahtongkoljagungmanis (Zea mays) dandaunkeringbungatanjung (Mimusopselengi) telahditeliti. Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmengetahuipengaruhvariasikomposisitongkoljagungdandaunkeringterhadapsifatfisis (kadar air, kerapatan) dansifatkimia (kadarabu) sertanilaikalor. Komposisibahanbakutongkoljagungdandaunkeringdivariasikandenganperbandinganpersentase100:0, 80:20, 50:50, 20:80 dan 0:100. Berdasarkanhasilpenelitiandidapatkanbahwanilaikadar air dankadarabubriketmemenuhi SNI 01-6235-2000 sedangkannilaikalorbelummemenuhi SNI 01-6235-2000.  Nilaikadar air yang memenuhistandardiperolehpadavariasikomposisitongkoljagungdandaunkering80:20 (7,9%), 50:50 (5,4%), 20:80 (5,1%), 0:100 (2,7%) dannilaikadarabupadavariasikomposisi 100:0 (2,94%), 80:20 (2,86%), 50:50 (5,71%).Selainitu, nilaikerapatanbriket yang dihasilkanmemenuhistandarkualitasbriket di negaraJepangdanAmerikaberkisarantara 0,7-0,9 g/cm3. Dari hasiltersebutdapatdisimpulkanbahwavariasikomposisibahanbakumempengaruhikadar air, kerapatan, kadarabudannilaikalorbriket.&#13;
