ANALISIS PERENCANAAN PENENTUAN LOKASI
KILANG KOPI DENGAN METODE PUSAT GRAFITY DI KECAMATAN ATU LINTANG
KABUPATEN ACEH TENGAH


ABSTRAK

Pemilihan lokasi kilang kopi yang baik merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam perancangan pabrik yang memproduksi hasil pertanian. Kilang kopi ikut menentukan jumlah ketersediaan produksi kopi, mutu kopi dan rasa khas kopi yang dikonsumsikan masyarakat, tingkat harga, pendapatan petani dan konsumen serta turut menentukan ketersediaan lapangan kerja di pedesaan. Kecamatan Atu Lintang merupakan kecamatan dengan areal tanam kopi terluas dan penghasil kopi terbanyak di setiap tahunnya, tetapi hanya memiliki 1 (satu) kilang kopi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan lokasi dan jumlah yang sesuai ditempatkan kilang kop isebagai usaha perimbangan antara produksi dan pengolahan kopi di Kecamatan Atu Lintang. Dalam hal ini terdapat ketidakseimbangan antara produksi kopi dengan kilang sebagai tempat pengolahan kopi. Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan perencanaan lokasi dan penetapan jumlah kilang kopi yang sesuai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pusat Grafity (Gird), yaitu menentukan lokasi kilang kopi berdasarkan letak geografis dan sumber bahan baku kopi yang mampu meminimalkan jarak dan biaya menuju kilang kopi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi yang sesuai untuk pendirian kilang kopi terletak di desa Atu Lintang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan jumlah kilang di Kecamatan Atu Lintang hanya berjumlah satu unit yaitu di Desa Atu Lintang.

THE LOCATION OF COFFEE REFINERIES USING
THE GRAFITY CENTRE METHOD IN ATU LINTANG DISTRICT CENTRAL OF ACEH


ABSTRACT


Selection of a good coffee refinery location is one of the imfortant things in the design of a factory that produces agricultural products. The existence of a coffee refineries greatly affects the amount of the coffee production, quality of coffee and distinctive taste that the community consumes, the price level, income of farmers and consumers and also determines the availability of employment in rural areas. Atu Lintang is the sub district with the largest coffee growing area and the most coffee producer in each year, but only has 1 (one) refinery coffee. The purpose of this study was to determine the location and amount appropriate placed of coffee refinery of as the balance effort among production and processing coffee sub district of Atu Lintang. In this case imbalance occurs between production at coffe and refinery of coffee as the processing coffee place. Therefore location planning is necessary and also determination of coffee refinery appropriate. The method used in this study is the Grafity Centre (Gird), wich determines the location of the coffee refineries based on the geographical location and source of coffee raw materials that can minimize distance and cost for the coffee plant. The result of research showed that the location appropriate for establishment of coffee refinery in sub district of Atu Lintang. It can be conclude that the addition of the number refinery in Atu Lintang sub district is only one its Atu Lintang village.
