ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi Aspergillus sp pada paru-paru ayam broiler. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 paru-paru ayam broiler yang diambil secara acak dari tempat pemotonan unggas Peunayong Banda Aceh. Isolasi Aspergillus sp. dilakukan sesuai dengan metode Thompson. Sampel dicuci dengan aquades steril yang berisi antibiotik selanjutnya ditanamkan pada media Sabouraud’s Dextrose Agar (SDA) kemudian diinkubasikan pada suhu kamar selama 1-2 minggu. Pertumbuhan morfologi koloni Aspergillus diamati secara makroskopis. Koloni yang diduga Aspergillus sp diperiksa secara mikroskopis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan bahwa Aspergillus sp. dapat diisolasi pada 1 dari 15 sampel paru-paru. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hanya 1 sampel (6,67%) dapat diisolasi Aspergillus sp. ABSTRACT This research aimed to isolate Aspergillus sp from the lungs of broiler chicken. Samples used in this research were 15 broiler chicken lungs taken randomly from the poultry of slaughter house Peunayong Banda Aceh. Isolation of Aspergillus sp was done based on Thompson method. The samples were washed with sterile aquadest containing antibiotics before implanted on Sabouraud’s Dextrose Agar (SDA), then incubated at room temperature for 1-2 weeks. The plate was observed from Aspergillus sp colony macroscopically and microscopically. Data were analyzed descriptive. The result of examination showed that Aspergillus sp can be isolated 1 out of 15 lungs.
