JEUMPA MALL DESIGN IN BANDA ACEH Name : Fiska Hidayat NIM : 1404104010091 ABSTRACT The development of Banda Aceh city in line with the increasing number of citizen cause life necessities increase too. The life necessities also follow by the development of lifestyle nowadays. One of the alternatives to fulfill the life necessities is by designing a mall. Jeumpa Mall is a place that provides a variety of activities such as shopping, recreation, hang out with family and friends and also culinary. The theme that used for this design is Indulgence the Pedestrian with Citywalk concept approach. The theme principles in the mall design are convenient corridor for visitor and using skylight in the main building. Jeumpa Mall is located in Dr. Ir. Teuku Muhammad Hasan Street, Lueng Bata subdistrict, Banda Aceh. The location of the mall is very strategic in line with the ongoing government program, it is in the new downtown of Banda Aceh. Jeumpa Mall expected to be a special attraction for visitor and can accommodate the life necessities of Banda Aceh citizen.
