Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan kuesioner dalam menganalisis populasi penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pegawai SKPA Provinsi Aceh yang terdiri dari 52 Dinas/Badan, Kantor, dan Sekretariat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara simple random sampling yang terdiri 100 responden dengan cara pembagian kuesinoer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budget emphasis, partisipasi anggaran, keterlibatan kerja, dan locus of control berpengaruh terhadap kesenjangan anggaran pada Dinas dan Pemerintahan daerah provinsi Aceh Kata Kunci: Kesenjangan Anggaran, budget emphasis, partisipasi anggaran, keterlibatan kerja, dan locus of control Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of budget emphasis, budget participation, job involvement and locus of control on the budget asymmetry in central and local government of Aceh Province. This study using hypothesis testing test with data collected from the quetionnaire to analysis the research population. The population in this research are the civil servant of the Aceh Province which consist of 52 government agencies, government officers and secretariat. The data gathering through simple random sampling method which contain of 100 respondents using the questionnaire. The reseult of this study found that the budget emphasis, budget participation, working involvement and locus of control significantly effect the budget asymmetry on central and local government of Aceh Province.
