ANALISIS KECENDERUNGAN MASYARAKAT UNTUK MENGGUNAKAN UANG ELEKTRONIK DI BANDA ACEH Oleh : Uliya Azra NIM : 1609200010018 Pembimbing : Dr. Aliasuddin, S.E, M.Si Dr. Taufiq C. Dawood, M.Ec, Dev ABSTRAK Studi ini menganalisis kecenderungan masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh untuk menggunakan uang elektronik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Banda Aceh dengan 204 sampel. Model logit diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil menunjukkan kecenderungan masyarakat menggunakan uang elektronik akibat pendapatan, fasilitas, dan lingkungan sebaliknya pendidikan tidak. Pengaruh sisi lingkungan yakni 2,5 kali, fasilitas 2,2 kali dan pendapatan 1,3 kali. Hal ini menandakan lingkungan mampu merubah persepsi masyarakat dan fasilitas memberikan kemudahan dalam akses uang elektronik. Rekomendasi penelitian ini menunjukkan uang elektronik sudah mulai berkembang di Kota Banda Aceh, namun perlu dilakukan sosialisasi tentang uang elektronik kepada masyarakat serta menyampaikan pentingnya uang elektronik dalam proses kemudahan, kelancaran serta keamanan bagi pengguna. The study was conducted in Kota Banda Aceh with 204 questionnaires. Logit model was applied in this research. The results show the tendency of people to use electronic money due to income, facilities, and environment otherwise not in education. The influence of the environmental side is 2.5 times, facilities 2.2 times and income 1.3 times. This indicates that the environment is able to change people's perception and facilities to facilitate access to electronic money. The recommendation of this research shows that electronic money has started to develop in Kota Banda Aceh, but the dissemination about electronic money to the community is needed to convey the importance of electronic money in the process of ease, smoothness and security for the users.
