This study entitles: The Overview of Using Dialogue Journal to Develop Writing Skill of &#13;
Young Learners. This study investigates a number of scholars’ opinions regarding the&#13;
implementation of dialogue journal in developing the writing skill of young learners. Those&#13;
views are compiled based on the scholars’ research findings regarding that issue. This study&#13;
aims to describe the implementation of dialogue journal in developing the writing skill in&#13;
relating to young learners. Since this study  is conducted in form of library research, various&#13;
types of written resources such as relevant journals articles, textbook, online documents, as&#13;
well as the reports of previous related were analyzed to meet the aim of the study. The study&#13;
mainly uses 4 samples of research namely Remiasova (2009), Datzman (2011), Valigurova&#13;
(2010), Haynes-Mays, Peltier-Glaze, and  Broussard (2011). The results indicate that dialogue&#13;
journal have developed the writing skills of young learners especially in terms of vocabulary&#13;
and grammar.</note>
