Abstrak:  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengujian kinerja dari mesin penggiling kopi &#13;
dengan perlakuan perbedaan kehalusan. Bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah biji kopi &#13;
Arabika yang diperoleh  dari Bener Meriah kemudian disangrai dengan suhu 170°C selama 25 menit. &#13;
Perlakuan yang dilakukan adalah perbedaan kehalusan dengan 3 taraf kehalusan yang diukur dengan &#13;
ayakan berukuran 35 mesh, 10 mesh, 5 mesh dengan setiap perlakuannya dilakukan sebanyak   3 kali &#13;
ulangan sehingga diperoleh 9 satuan percobaan. Pengamatan dan pengukuran data dilakukan dengan &#13;
cara analisa sesuai dengan parameter meliputi  kapasitas mesin, rendemen, persentase kehilangan &#13;
hasil gilingan, kadar air dan organoleptik oleh panelis  yang expert dibidangnya. Data yang didapatkan &#13;
kemudian akan dianalisa.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan perbedaan kehalusan bubuk &#13;
kopi yang dihasilkan mesin penggiling Conical Burr Mill memberikan pengaruh nyata pada  Kapasitas &#13;
mesin, rendemendan  kadar air. Ditinjau dari aspek perforrma mesin diketahui perlakuan pada tingkat &#13;
kehalusan 5 mesh merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada pengujian mesin Conical Burr Mill dengan &#13;
menunjukan nilai 20.3203kg/jam pada Kapasitas mesin, 9.1668% pada rendemen, 1.9706%  pada &#13;
kadar air bubuk kopi. Sedangkan ditinjau dari mutu bubuk kopi diketahui perlakuan pada tingkat &#13;
kehalusan 10 mesh merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada pengujian organoleptik dengan skor 83.25&#13;

Abstract:  Therefore the purpose of this research is to know the performance testing of the machine &#13;
coffee grinder with the treatment difference fineness. The materials used in this research is the &#13;
Arabica bean coffee obtained from Bener Meriahthen roasted with a temperature of 170 ° C for 25 &#13;
minutes.Treatment that is done is the difference fineness with 3 degrees of fineness is measured with &#13;
sieve mesh size 35, mesh size 10, mesh size 5 with any moderate performed as many as 3 times &#13;
repeats so retrieved 9 units of  the experiment. Observation and measurement of the result is done by &#13;
way of analysis in accordance with the parameters include capacity of machine and water content and &#13;
cupping test by the expert panelists in their jobs. The result obtained will then be analyzed. Results of &#13;
the study showed that treatment difference fineness of the coffee produced  grinder machine type &#13;
Conical Burr mill  give a real influence on the  capacity of machine, the percentage losses and water &#13;
content. Reviewed performance aspects of machines known treatment on the level of fineness 5 mesh &#13;
is the best treatment on machine with Conical engine testing showed the value of 20.3203 kg/h on the &#13;
test engine performance, 9.1668% yield ground coffee, water content at 1.9706%  ground coffee. &#13;
Whereasin terms of the quality of the coffee is known to the treatment on the level of fineness 10 &#13;
mesh is the best treatment on cupping test with a score of 83.25&#13;
