ABSTRAK Penelitian berjudul kajian bioekologi kantong semar (Nepenthes spp.) di area hutan tanaman industri Kecamatan Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar bertujuan untuk mendata jumlah jenis dan kelimpahan setiap jenis tumbuhan kantong semar (Nepenthes spp.) serta kondisi habitat tumbuhan tersebut yang tumbuh di area HTI PT. Aceh Nusa Indrapuri Kecamatan Blang Bintang, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian yang dilakukan dari bulan Juli hingga Desember 2016 ini menggunakan Metode Survei Eksploratif dengan teknik analisis vegetasi. Teknik yang digunakan berupa metode transek/jalur berpetak yang diletakkan secara purposive sampling di area HTI PT. Aceh Nusa Indrapuri Kecamatan Blang Bintang, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada area HTI PT. Aceh Nusa Indrapuri Kecamatan Blang Bintang, Kabupaten Aceh Besar terdapat satu jenis tumbuhan kantong semar yaitu Nephentes mirabilis dengan jumlah 162 individu. Selain itu, juga ditemukan 10 jenis tumbuhan yang tumbuh bersamaan dengan N. mirabilis. Tumbuhan kantong semar dapat tumbuh pada ketinggian 100-200 mdpl, kelembapan 56-78%, suhu udara 29-33 o C, suhu tanah 30-31 o C, dan pH tanah sebesar 5,2. ABSTRACT This study is about bioecological studies of pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp.) in the area of industrial forest plantations in Blang Bintang subdistrict, Aceh Besar. The study aims to record the species and the number of each kind of pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp.) as well as the condition of the habitat which grows in the area of HTI PT. Aceh Nusa Indrapuri, Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar. This research, which is conducted from July to December 2016, uses Explorative Survey Method. The technique is in the form of terraced lane/transect method placed by purposive sampling in HTI PT. Aceh Nusa Indrapuri area, Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar Regency. The results showed that in the area of HTI PT. Aceh Nusa Indrapuri, Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar, there is one kind of pitcher plant that is Nephentes mirabilis with the number of 162 individuals. In addition, it is also found 10 species of plants that grow together with N. mirabilis. Pitcher plants can grow at an altitude of 100-200 mdpl, humidity 56-78%, air temperature 29-33 o C, soil temperature 30-31 o C, and soil pH of 5.2.
