ABSTRAK Wahyu. 2017. Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Musikal Anak Usia Dini Melalui Lagu Daerah Gayo di TK Satu Atap Wihni Bakong Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Pembimbing: melalui lagu Daerah Gayo, dengan fokus kemampuan menyanyikan lagu, mengingat melodi musik dan mempunyai kepekaan akan irama musik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kecerdasan musikal anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini anak usia dini yang berusia 5-6 tahun kelompok B, berjumlah 10 anak yang terdiri dari 3 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan unjuk kerja. Setelah dilakukan tindakan dalam 2 siklus hasil menujukkan bahwa melalui Lagu Daerah Gayo dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan musikal pada anak. Terbukti dengan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah kecerdasan musikal anak dikembangkan dengan cara memperkenalkan lagu melalui video, menyanyikan lagu bersama-sama, mengatur posisi duduk anak agar menjadi lebih fokus, memberikan kebebasan kepada anak untuk mengekspresikan diri sesuai dengan apa yang anak rasakan tetapi masih dalam konteks lagu tersebut, mengadakan latihan setelah pulang sekolah, dan pada saat jam istirahat peneliti juga memperdengarkan lagu Daerah Gayo. Supervisors: This research was conducted about how to improve early childhood’s musical intelligence through Gayonese traditional songs. It focused on the ability to sing songs, the ability to remember the melody of music and to have senses to the rhythm of music. The purpose of research was to determine the musical intelligence of early childhood. This research used classroom action research methodthat was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were early aged 5-6 years childhood in group B consisting 3 boys and 7 girls. Data were collected through observation sheets and performance. After the actions done in 2 cycles result, it showed that Gayonese traditional songs can improve musical intelligence in early childhood.It can be proved by the results of observations made which have reached the indicator of success. Therefore, it can be concluded thatearly childhood’s musical intelligence develops by introducing songs through videos, singing songs together, arranging the early childhood’s sitting position to become more focused, giving them the freedom to express themselves in accordance with what they feel, but it was still in context the song, holding the rehearsals after school and during break time. In this case, the researchers also played the Gayonese traditional songs.
