ABSTRAK&#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai pengetahuan dan sikap pemilik rumah &#13;
makan terhadap kehalalan olahan pangan asal hewan di Kota Banda Aceh.&#13;
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2017 di beberapa rumah makan di&#13;
Banda Aceh. Penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk survei lapangan dengan&#13;
mewawancarai responden menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Responden dipilih&#13;
secara proporsional terhadap pemilik rumah makan di Banda Aceh.  Kriteria&#13;
responden adalah beragama Islam, berumur ?20 tahun, pemilik rumah makandi&#13;
lokasi penelitian, rumah makan menjual olahan daging ayam, dan rumah makan&#13;
dengan kebutuhan daging ayam &gt;20 ekor/hari. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis&#13;
secara deskriptif dan dilanjutkan dengan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian terhadap 45&#13;
responden menunjukkan bahwa persentase terbesar pengetahuan pemilik rumah&#13;
makan terhadap kehalalan olahan pangan asal hewan di Kota Banda Aceh adalah&#13;
sebesar 82,2%, yang memiliki kategori baik, sedangkan persentase terbesar dari&#13;
sikap pemilik rumah makan terhadap kehalalan olahan pangan asal hewan di Kota&#13;
Banda Aceh adalah sebesar 44,4%, yang memiliki kategori kurang. Hasil uji&#13;
korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,43 yang dapat&#13;
dikategorikan memiliki hubungan sedang. &#13;

Survey of Knowledge and the Attitude of Restaurant &#13;
Owners in Banda Aceh Againts Halal  &#13;
Food Animal Origin&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
This study was aims to assess the knowledge and attitude of restaurant &#13;
owners to halal processed foods of animal origin in Banda Aceh. This study was&#13;
conducted in January 2017 in several restaurants in Banda Aceh. This research&#13;
was conducted in the form of a field survey by interviewing respondents using a&#13;
structured questionnaire. Respondents were selected proportionally which is&#13;
restaurant owners in Banda Aceh. The Criteria of respondents are Moeslim, aged&#13;
? 20 years, restaurant owners in the study site, a restaurant that sells processed&#13;
chicken meat and home meal with chicken meat demand &gt;20 carcass /day. The&#13;
data were analyzed descriptively and correlation test. In this research have been&#13;
interviewed  45 respondents. The results showed that the largest percentage of &#13;
knowledge of restaurant owners on halal processed food of animal origin in&#13;
Banda Aceh understand, is 82,2%. The percentage of restaurant owner attitudes&#13;
towards halal processed food of animal origin in Banda Aceh was less, is 44.4%.&#13;
Correlation value is 0,43 that can categorization as medium. &#13;
