ABSTRAK
Stres adalah ketidak mampuan seorang individu mengatasi ancaman berupa aspek fisik, mental, emosional, dan spiritual manusia yang pada akhirnya dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan fisik manusia. Stres yang dirasakan oleh setiap mahasiswa sangat mengganggu serta dapat menurunkan konsentrasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres dengan lamanya menjalani kepaniteraan klinik senior pada dokter muda di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas syiah kuala Banda Aceh.
Studi komparatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 – 25 Maret 2016. Besar sampel adalah 70 orang yang terbagi atas 22 orang dari bagian anak, 14 orang dari bagian bedah, 16 orang dari bagian obgyn, dan 18 orang dari ilmu penyakit dalam. Tingkat stres dinilai dengan menggunakan kuesioner Percieved stress scale 10 (PSS 10).
Analisa bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Chi square, menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara stress dengan lamanya menjalani kepaniteraan klinik senior pada dokter muda dengan nilai P value = 0,000 ( p = < ? 0,01 ) dengan arah korelasi yang positif sehingga H0 ditolak dan hipotesis kerja terbukti.
Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara stress dengan lamanya menjalani kepaniteraan klinik senior pada dokter muda di Fakultas Kedokteran Unsyiah Banda Aceh.

ABSTRACT
Stress is an individual inability to respond to any kind of threat such as in the aspect of physical, mental, emotional and human’s spirituality which in the end could damage a person’s physical well-being. Stress that is perceived by college student can be very disruptive and can interfere with their level of concentration during learning process. The main aim of this research is to understand the correlation between the level of stress and the lenghty period of senior clinic internship of junior resident doctors at the Medical Faculty of Syiah Kuala University.
Comparative study with cross-sectional approach was held on 3-25 March 2016. A sample of 70 junior resident doctors comprising of 22 residents from Paediatrics, 14 residents from General Surgery, 16 residents from Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OB/GYN), and 18 residents from Internal Medicine. The Stress Index is rated by using Perceive Stress Scale 10 (PSS 10) questionnaire.
Bivariate analysis, by using the method of Chi Square Test, shows that there is a correlation between stress and the lengthy period of senior clinic internship of junior clinic residents with the P value = 0,000 ( p = < ? 0,01 ) with a positive correlation direction with the result that H0 is denied and an approved working hypothesis.
There is a correlation between stress and the lenghty period of senior clinic internship of junior resident doctors at the Medical Faculty of Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh.
