Sleep Apnea (SA) sering ditemukan pada pasien PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis (HD) dan menyebabkan penurunan kualitas hidup pasien. Sleep apnea pada pasien HD masih sering tidak terdiagnosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lama HD dengan risiko menderita sleep apnea pada pasien PGK di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan desain ¬cross-sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Data lamanya HD didapatkan dari buku registrasi pasien HD di Instalasi dialisis RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin dan risiko sleep apnea diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner Berlin. Total pasien pada penelitian berjumlah 48 pasien. Hasil uji Chi-square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara lama HD dengan risiko menderita sleep apnea pada pasien PGK yang menjalani HD (p-value = 0,014 dan ? = 0.05). Risiko menderita sleep apnea pada pasien PGK yang telah menjalani HD ? 12 bulan (62,9%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan pasien yang menjalani HD ? 3 – 11 bulan (23,1%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara lama hemodialisis dengan risiko menderita sleep apnea pada pasien PGK di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh.

Sleep Apnea (SA) is common in HD patient. It decreases the quality of life among them and still underdiagnosed. The aims of this study is to determine the association between the length of HD and the risk of SA in CKD patients undergoing HD in RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. This study was an analytic study with cross-sectional design and sample’s technique was conducted by using total sampling. The length of HD data was taken from register data of HD patients in Dialysis Installation RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh and the risk of sleep apnea was measured by using Berlin Questionnaire. Total number of patients were 48 patients. The test result of Chi-square that there was an association between the length of HD and the risk of SA in CKD patients (p-value = 0,014 and ? = 0,05). The risk of SA patients who have done HD ? 12 months (62,9%) were higher than patients who done HD ? 3 – 11 months (23,1%). It can be concluded that there are an association between the length of HD and the risk SA patients with CKD in RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh.
