ABSTRAK
Hipertensi merupakan suatu kondisi peningkatan tekanan darah di atas nilai normal. Komplikasi yang dapat terjadi akibat hipertensi adalah penyakit jantung koroner, gagal jantung, stroke, gagal ginjal kronik, dan retinopati. Hipertensi kini diduga dapat mempengaruhi sendi. Pada kondisi hipertensi terjadi peningkatan resistensi pembuluh darah perifer, pembuluh darah yang menyempit dari waktu ke waktu menyebabkan aliran darah ke tulang yang terletak di bawah tulang rawan sendi menjadi berkurang sehingga pasokan nutrisi ke tulang rawan akan terganggu, akhirnya menyebabkan kerusakan tulang rawan. Jika dibiarkan cukup lama, dapat menyebabkan osteoarthritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan derajat dan lama menderita hipertensi dengan keparahan osteoarthritis lutut di RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Keparahan OA lutut akan diukur dengan dua cara yaitu secara radiologi (KlasifikasicKellgren-Lawrance) dan secara klinis (Skor WOMAC). Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional dilakukan pada 58 pasien OA. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman, Pearson, T test dan uji Mann Whitney. Penelitian dilakukan pada 27 responden laki-laki dan 31 responden perempuan dengan kelompok umur terbanyak adalah 56-65 tahun (53,4%), pekerjaan terbanyak adalah ibu pensiunan (34,5%), sebanyak 28 orang termasuk kedalam kategori overweight berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh. Derajat OA lutut yang dominan adalah derajat I dan III. Dari keseluruhan pasien OA lutut didapatkan memiliki riwayat hipertensi dengan derajat I paling banyak dan lamanya hipertensi paling dominan adalah dalam rentang waktu1-10 tahun. Dengan analisa statistik didapatkan p value = 0,000 dengan ? = 0,5 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa derajat dan lama menderita hipertensi dengan keparahan OA lutut memiliki hubungan yang signifikan.

ABSTRACT
Hypertension is a condition of increased blood pressure from the normal value. Complications that can occur as a result of hypertension such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke, chronic renal failure, and retinopathy. Hypertension is now thought can affect the joints. In hypertension, blood vessels become narrowed over time, narrowed vessels restricted blood flow to the bone that lies beneath the joint cartilage and caused circulation of blood and nutrients to cartilage suffers. Cartilage begins to deteriorate. If this condition left long enough, can lead to osteoarthritis. The objectives of this study is to find out if there were a relation between the degree and duration of suffering from hypertension to the severity of osteoarthritis of the knee at Zainoel Abidin Hospital, Banda Aceh. Radiological (Kellgren-Lawrance grading) and clinical (WOMAC) was used to assess the severity of osteoarthritis of knee. The data were analyzed by using Spearman, Pearson, T test and Mann Whitney analysis test. Fifty eight OA patients were enrolled in this analitic observational study with cross sectional design. This study was conducted on 27 male participants and 31 female participants with the largest age group is 56-65 years (53,4%), the most jobs are retired (34,5%). Abaout 28 people included into overweight based on the the category of Body Mass Index. The dominant degree of OA of the knee is fist and third degree. From all patients of OA of the knee found to have a history of hypertension with first degree at most and duration of hypertension is the most dominant in the range 1-10 year. Statistical analysis obtained with p value = 0,000 with ? = 0.5 so it can be concluded that the degree and duration of suffering from hypertension with the severity of knee OA has a significant relationship.
