Tujuanpenelitianiniuntukmengetahuikesiapsiagaanrencanatanggapdaruratdanmobilisasisumberdayadalamupayamengantisipasidampakbencana tsunami padamasyarakatKecamatanTeupah Barat KabupatenSimeulue.Desainpenelitianinideskriptifeksploratif.Populasipenelitianberjumlah 3519 orang.Pengambilansampeldilakukandenganmetodepurposive samplingdanproporsinal samplinguntuksetiapdesasebanyak97 orang. Instrumenpenelitianberupakuesionerdenganskaladichotomoussebanyak 29 item pernyataan.Teknikpengumpulan data denganwawancaraterpimpin.Data hasilpenelitiandianalisasecaradeskriptifdenganmenentukanpersentaseberdasarkankatagorisiapdanbelumsiap.Hasilpenelitianrencanatanggapdaruratditinjaudariresponterhadapkesiapsiagaanberadapadakategorisiap (58.8%), danaspekevakuasi, penyelamatan, keselamatan, keamanan, danpemenuhankebutuhandasarterhadapkesiapsiagaanberadapadakategorisiap (66.0%).Sedangkanmobilisasisumberdayaditinjaudaripersiapanbimbinganteknis, penyediaanmateriterhadapkesiapsiagaanberadapadakategoribelumsiap (36.1%) dankesiapanpendanaansertajaringansosialberadapadakategorisiap (61.9%).Berdasarkanhasilpenelitiantersebut, diharapkankepadamasyarakatKecamatanTeupah Barat KabupatenSimeulue agar lebihmempersiapkandiridalammeningkatkankesiapsiagaanrencanatanggapdaruratdanmobilisasisumberdaya, karenasangatpentingdilakukanuntukmeminimalkandampakkorbanjiwadankerugianhartabenda yang mempengarui proses pemulihansetelahterjadinyabencana. Aim of this study was to identify the preparedness plans and resource mobilization in the effort of anticipating the impact of tsunami disaster in Teupah Barat Sub district of Simeuelu Regency. This study used descriptive explorative design. Population amounted to 3519 people. Samples were collected with purposive and proportional sampling technique amounting to 97 people. Instrument used in this study was questionnaire in dichotomous form with 29 statement items. Data were collected with guided interview. The data were analyzed descriptively by determining percentage based on category of prepared and unprepared. The results of the research on emergency preparedness plans viewed from the response toward the preparedness was in prepared category (58.8%), aspects of the evacuation, rescue, safety, security, and basic needs for preparedness was in prepared category (66.0%). Meanwhile the resource mobilization viewed from preparation of technical guidance and provision of materials to the preparedness was in unprepared category (36.1%), preparedness of funding social networking was in prepared category (61.9%). Based on the results, it is expected that the communities in Teupah Barat Sub district of Simeulue Regency prepare themselves to improve the emergency preparedness plans and resource mobilization because it is very important in order to minimize the impact of casualties and property losses influencing recovery process aftermath.
