Abstrak. Tribolium castaneum (Herbst.) atau kumbang tepung merupakan salah satu hama gudang &#13;
penting di daerah tropis, yang disebut juga sebagai hama sekunder. Hama ini ada di penyimpanan &#13;
apabila bahan yang disimpan sudah dirusak terlebih dahulu oleh  Sitophilus zeamais, dan bersifat &#13;
polifagus. T.  castaneum  merusak bahan simpan dengan cara menggerek bagian luar hingga masuk &#13;
ke bagian dalam bahan tersebut yang berdampak pada kuantitas dan kualitas bahan. Penelitian ini &#13;
bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jenis serbuk nabati yang lebih berpotensi sebagai insektisida pada &#13;
serangga  T.  castenum  pada biji jagung di penyimpanan. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam &#13;
penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan&#13;
serbuk nabati yaitu serei wangi, daun babadotan, daun salam, dan kayu manis. Peubah yang &#13;
diamati meliputi mortalitas imago, mortalitas  larva, persentase imago  T. castaneum  yang muncul, &#13;
daya repelensi imago dan daya repelensi larva. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mortalitas &#13;
imago tertinggi pada pengamatan 9 HSA dijumpai pada perlakuan serbuk kayu manis mencapai &#13;
56,67% dan mortalitas larva tertinggi pada pengamatan 5 HSA dijumpai pada perlakuan serbuk &#13;
kayu manis mencapai 16,67%. Selanjutnya persentase imago  T. castaneum  yang muncul tertinggi &#13;
pada pengamtan 38 HSA dijumpai pada perlakuan serbuk daun salam sebesar 73,33%. Daya &#13;
repelensi imago tertinggi pada pengamatan 2 JSA dijumpai pada perlakuan serbuk kayu manis &#13;
sebesar 60,00 % dan daya repelensi larva tertinggi pada pengamatan 2 JSA dijumpai pada &#13;
perlakuan serbuk kayu manis sebesar 25,00%. &#13;

Abstract. Tribolium castaneum (Herbst.) or flour beetle is one of the important warehouse pests in &#13;
the tropic area, which is also known as secondary pests. This pest is in storage when the stored &#13;
materials have been destroyed by  Sitophilus zeamais, and has polyphago us trait.  T. castaneum&#13;
damage stored material by way of drilling the outside to get into the inside of the material which &#13;
have an impact on the quantity and quality of materials. This study aims to get the kind of plant &#13;
powder which more potential as insecticides to  T. castenum on corn kernels in storage. The design &#13;
used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial consist of 4 treatment &#13;
plant powders  that  Cymbopogon nardus  L.,  Ageratum conyzoides  L.,  Syzygium polyanthum, &#13;
Cinnamomum burmani. The parameters observed is mortality of adult, larval mortality, the &#13;
percentage of adult T. castaneum that appears, repellent power of adult and larvae of  T. castaneum. &#13;
The results showed that the highest  adult mortality observed in 9  HSA is  Cinnamomum burmani&#13;
treatment reached 56.67% and the highest larvae mortality at 5  HSA observations found in &#13;
Cinnamomum burmani  reached 16.67%. Furthermore, the highest percentage of adult  T. &#13;
castaneum  that appears on 38  HSA observations found in Syzygium polyanthum  powder treatment &#13;
reached 73.33%. The highest adult repellent power on 2  JSA  observations found in the treatment &#13;
of  Cinnamomum burmani  reached 60.00% and the highest larvae  repellent power observed in 2 &#13;
JSA found in Cinnamomum burmani treatment reached 25.00%.&#13;
