Masa  studi  ideal  bagi  mahasiswa  yang  menempuh  jenjang  pendidikan  S1  sekitar&#13;
empat sampai lima tahun, tetapi fakta mem&#13;
buktikan masih banyak mahasiswa S1&#13;
FMIPA  Unsyiah&#13;
yang  membutuhkan  waktu  lebi&#13;
h  lama.&#13;
Penyusunan  Skripsi  ini&#13;
bertujuan&#13;
untuk   menjelaskan   prosedur   klasifikasi   dengan&#13;
analisis   Regresi&#13;
Logistik&#13;
,  menerapkan&#13;
analisis  Regresi  Logistik  Ordinal&#13;
pada  kasus  k&#13;
lasifikasi&#13;
alumni FMIPA Unsyiah&#13;
berdasarkan masa studinya dan mengetahui perbandingan&#13;
hasil   klasifikasi&#13;
A&#13;
nalisis   Regresi   Logi&#13;
stik   Ordinal&#13;
dengan&#13;
metode   CHAID.&#13;
Analisis  Regresi  Logistik  Ordinal  digunakan  untuk  menganalisa  faktor  yang&#13;
berhubungan  dengan&#13;
masa  studi.&#13;
Uji  yang  digunakan  untuk  mengetahui  variabel&#13;
prediktor yang signifikan adalah uji serentak dan uji individual.&#13;
Dalam&#13;
penelitian&#13;
ini  digunakan  data  lulusan  S1  FMIPA  Unsyiah  yang  lulus  pada  bulan  Januari&#13;
2007  sampai  dengan  Agustus  2014.&#13;
Berdasarkan  data  masa  studi  mahasiswa,&#13;
respon  terbagi  dalam  3  kelompok,  yaitu  86  mahasiswa  (9%)  masuk  dalam&#13;
kelompok  cepat,  390  mahasiswa&#13;
(40%)  masuk  dalam  kelompok  sedang  dan  500&#13;
mahasiswa  (51%)  masuk  dalam  kelompok  lama.&#13;
Penerapan  A&#13;
nalisis  Regresi&#13;
Logistik  O&#13;
rdin&#13;
al  menggunakan  6  variabel  prediktor&#13;
yaitu:  jenis  kelamin,  asal&#13;
sekolah,  jurusan,  tingkat  pendidikan  pembimbing,  IPK,  dan  nilai  sid&#13;
ang&#13;
.  Dari  6&#13;
variabel  tersebut&#13;
Analisis  Regresi  Logistik  Ordinal&#13;
menghasilkan  5  variabel&#13;
prediktor&#13;
yang  mempengaruhi  masa  studi  mahasiswa&#13;
yaitu&#13;
:&#13;
jenis  kela&#13;
min,  asal&#13;
sekolah, jurusan, IPK dan&#13;
nilai sidang.&#13;
Pada m&#13;
etode CHAID juga&#13;
menghasilkan 5&#13;
variabel  predi&#13;
ktor&#13;
yang  signifikan&#13;
dengan  satu  variabel  yang  berbeda&#13;
yaitu  IPK,&#13;
jenis   kelamin,   jurusan,   nilai   sidang,   dan&#13;
tingkat   pendidikan&#13;
pembimbing&#13;
.&#13;
Keakuratan  klasifikasi  dengan  Analisis  Regresi  Logistik  O&#13;
rdinal  sebesar  62,7%&#13;
sedangkan&#13;
dengan metode CHAID sebesar&#13;
61,4%, dari hasil tersebut dapat dilihat&#13;
bahwa  keakuratan  klas&#13;
ifikasi  Regresi  Logistik  O&#13;
rdinal    sedikit  diatas  dari  hasil&#13;
keakuratan  klasifikasi  dengan  metode  CHAID,  jadi  da&#13;
pat  disimpulkan  bahwa&#13;
analisis  Regresi  Logistik  O&#13;
rdinal  lebih  baik  dalam  mempredik&#13;
si  masa  studi&#13;
mahasiswa dibandingkan dengan metode CHAID.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
The&#13;
study period is ideal for students who take education level S1 of about four to&#13;
five  years,  but  the  fact  remains  there  are  still  many  students  S1  FMIPA  Unsyiah&#13;
which takes longer. The preparation of this thesis aims to explain the procedure of&#13;
classificat&#13;
ion   by   logistic   regression   analysis,   applying   the   Ordinal   Logistic&#13;
Regression analysis in the case of alumni Faculty Unsyiah classification based on&#13;
their  study  and  compare  the  classification  results  Ordinal  Logistic  Regression&#13;
Analysis  with  CHAID  method.&#13;
Ordinal  logistic  regression  analysis  was  used  to&#13;
analyze  factors  related  to  the  study  period.  Test  used  to  determine  significant&#13;
predictor variables are simultaneously test and individual test. This study used the&#13;
data  S1  FMIPA  Unsyiah  graduates  who  gradua&#13;
ted  in  January  2007  to  August&#13;
2014. According to the study period the students, the responses are divided into 3&#13;
groups of 86 students (9%) in the group of fast,  390 students (40%) in the group&#13;
of  medium  and  500  students  (51%)  in  the  group  of  old.  Applicat&#13;
ion  of  Ordinal&#13;
Logistic  Regression  Analysis  using  six  predictor  variables  are:  gender,  origin  of&#13;
schools, majors, educational level supervisor, GPA, and the value of the trial. Of&#13;
these  6  variables  Ordinal  Logistic  Regression  Analysis  generate  five  predict&#13;
or&#13;
variables  that  affect  student  study  period,  namely:  gender,  origin  of  schools,&#13;
majors,  GPA  and  the  value  of  the  trial.  In  CHAID  method  also  produces  5&#13;
significant  predictor  variables  with  the  different  variables  that  GPA,  gender,&#13;
majors,  the  value  of  th&#13;
e  session,  and  level  of  education  tutors.  Classification&#13;
accuracy  with  Ordinal  Logistic  Regression  Analysis  amounted  to  62.7%,  while&#13;
the CHAID method amounted to 61.4%, from these results it can be seen that the&#13;
accuracy of classification Ordinal Logistic&#13;
Regression slightly above the results of&#13;
the accuracy of the classification with CHAID method, so it can be concluded that&#13;
the  analysis  of  Logistic  Regression  ordinal  better  in  predicting  a  student's  study&#13;
period compared with CHAID method.&#13;
