Abstrak. Pengaruh Jarak Tanam dan Dosis Pupuk Kandang terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil&#13;
Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui&#13;
pengaruh jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk kandang yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman&#13;
bawang merah yang maksimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Stasiun Penelitian Pertanian&#13;
(University Farm), Substasiun Hortikultura Organik Darussalam, Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini&#13;
telah dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret 2016 sampai dengan Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan&#13;
Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 2 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 8&#13;
kombinasi perlakuan dan 24 satuan percobaan. Faktor yang diteliti adalah jarak tanam yang&#13;
terdiri atas 2 taraf yaitu (20 cm x 15 cm) dan (20 cm x 25 cm) dan dosis pupuk kandang yang&#13;
terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu (tanpa pupuk kandang), (10 ton ha-1), (20 ton ha-1) dan (30 ton ha-1).&#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap berat basah&#13;
berangkasan per bedeng dan berat kering umbi per bedeng, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi&#13;
tanaman umur 30 HST dan berat kering berangkasan per bedeng. Berpengaruh tidak nyata&#13;
terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 dan 45 HST, jumlah daun umur 15, 30 dan 45 HST, jumlah&#13;
anakan per rumpun, jumlah umbi per rumpun, berat berangkasan basah per rumpun, berat&#13;
berangkasan kering per rumpun, berat kering umbi per rumpun. Pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik&#13;
dijumpai pada jarak tanam 15 cm x 20 cm. Dosis pupuk kandang berpengaruh tidak nyata&#13;
terhadap semua peubah yang diamati. Tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara perlakuan jarak&#13;
tanam dan dosis pupuk kandang, sehingga tidak terdapat keeratan hubungan antara kedua faktor&#13;
tersebut.&#13;

Abstract.&#13;
Dose Effect of Plant Spacing and Manure on Growth and Yield Plant Shallots (Allium&#13;
ascalonicum L.). This study aims to determine the effect of plant spacing and doses of manure is&#13;
right for the growth and yield of onion maximum. This research was conducted at the&#13;
Agricultural Research Station (University Farm), substations Organic Horticulture Darussalam,&#13;
Banda Aceh. This research has been conducted on the month in March 2016 to May 2016. This&#13;
study used a randomized block design (RAK) factorial 2 x 4 with three replications, so that there&#13;
are 8 combined treatment and 24 experimental unit. Factors studied were plant spacing which&#13;
consists of two levels ie (20 cm x 15 cm) and (20 cm x 25 cm) and the dose of manure which&#13;
consists of four levels ie (without manure), (10 ton ha-1) , (20 ton ha-1) and (30 ton ha-1). The&#13;
results showed that the spacing of significant effect on the wet weight berangkasan per plot and&#13;
the dry weight of tuber per plot, plant height significantly affected the age of 30 HST and&#13;
berangkasan dry weight per plot. Influential no significant effect on plant height at 15 and 45&#13;
days after planting, leaf number aged 15, 30 and 45 days after planting, the number of tillers per&#13;
hill, tuber number per hill, wet weight berangkasan per clump, dry weight berangkasan per&#13;
clump, dry weight of tuber per hill. Growth and the best results encountered at a spacing of 15&#13;
cm x 20 cm. Dose manure no real effect on all the observed variables. There was no significant&#13;
interaction between treatment and dose spacing of manure, so there is no relationship between&#13;
the two factors.&#13;
